@Rodger. Ok, well think what you want to think then. I'm really not trying to put you down about your new car. It's just I don't find them fast in a straight line at all, and the same goes for corners. I've driven a whole bunch of them, including the 180hp 1.8T, and I find them crap personally. Each to there own I suppose!

Sorry, but I have to agree with this. Yes, they are well built and comfortable, but they are nothing at all the shout about. A mere 180hp in a heavy chassis that does not like taking corners is not going to set the world alight.

I'm slowly converting this to XRT. Both sides are done apart from little parts, and it needs to have some logos added back on and some text done.

Please note that I'm not a pro skinner at all, and this is all being done in Paint.NET. Also, I will not pass this skin around until I manage to get permission from the original maker.

And, what's your point? I know for a fact it's dangerous, as I have had cars come into work with tyres popped off the bead after they taken a corner hard, and this was all because they had stretched tyres on.

If your comfortable with doing 80-90mph on the Motorway with stretched tyres, then great. You will only hear me saying "i told you so" when they pop off the bead and you slam sideways into a tree.

Howdy guys.

Just came across this Website, and wanted your opinions on it. Basically, it is a site where you Register up, and apply to "test" new (Or soon to be released) products, and then offer your opinions about them, and in some cases, get to keep said objects when the testing is over.

Now, I'm very interested as I would love to get my hands on products before anyone else and test them out, and let's face it, everyone would accept a freebie if they got offered one.

However, I am a little skeptical about whether this is a scam or not, and I am wondering whether any of you guys have used it. The only real thing that made me think it's a little dodgy was the iPad one. They give you an iPad to use for a few months, you then give them your opinions and they apparently let you keep it. Sounds like BS to me...

I'm not bothered at all about people wearing these kind of things, but I think there need to be certain circumstances where they would need to take it off so there face can be revealed.

For example, Bikers can NOT enter a bank or a store/mall (Including many other places) with a helmet on. If they do, they are instantly asked to remove it before going any further. Obviously, this is so they can be identified in CCTV if they were to commit a robbery or other criminal activity. However, I have seen plenty of Woman (Or Men! Who knows. You cannot see any sort of shape under those things!) with these "burkas" on, and yet they are not told to remove it.

I can totally understand that it may be part of there Religion to never remove these things in Public, but frankly, when I see them kicking off at Airports and other places when being asked to remove them for Identity reasons, then they should either remove it or stop crying and bloody go home.

I don't think a full non-tolerance ban of the Burkas should be brought to the UK, but I would like to see some sort of Ban in certain areas, as mentioned above.

Random fact of the Day. Did you know a short while ago, a wanted man in the UK managed to get through Airport security and onto a plane (Subsequently fleeing the UK...) using just his Wifes Burka and Passport?

To a degree yes, but what I think Luke means (Or at least how I interpret "thrashed") was the car being driven hard like a GTR should, but with no mechanical sympathy, i.e red lining it from cold, being rough with the gears etc.

It's actually quite scary how many people don't realize the amount of damage you can do to a cars engine when it is cold.

That could work. Like you said, just a huge auto cross "area", but with buildings and scenery added.

Despite it being a racing simulator, I spend 95% of my time on LFS Cruising, and I'm not afraid to admit that I would absolutely LOVE some sort of city or mountain type environment. Just imagine driving on Fujimi Kaido from Forza 3 but with LFS. Lovely...

You seriously need to get some shine there Tomba (Although not to my extent! ). Sorry but it looks terrible with no reflection imo. Just makes the picture look "flat" and boring.
