No Dan. You just think it pulls harder because it's louder. I've fitted induction kits to an array of Cars (Never the 57i though! That is one of THE worst ones to fit.) and I never notice a different apart from the excess of shit they let in, and the louder noise of course.
And it doesn't matter where you place it. It still won't be as good as an Airbox. You either place it in the Engine bay to reduce the amount of crap flying towards it but you suffer heat soak, or you place it behind your front bumper to reduce heat soak, but then suffer the Intake sucking up all the crap being flicked up from the cars in front. How fun!
Please DO post up those Dyno Sheet results. What kind of Dyno was it by the way?
And if the Airbox was that restrictive, it would not take alot of work to make it less restrictive but also provide some protection. Just face it. You done it for the noise.
I guess I prefer some protection from crap entering my engine, rather than the noise. And trust me, I've seen what kind of crap enters open air filters.
Have you ever thought about investing in Contact Lenses? I always found Glasses uncomfortable to wear after a while (I tried an array of Helmets, all to no success) so I switched over to Contact Lenses, and it's much more comfortable now.
Because he thinks it serves a purpose and his $10 homemade intake is much more superior compared to the thousands of dollars worth of research Toyota / Lexus put into it.
Why? Do you wanna get some goold old fashioned revenge to make your boyfriend feel better?....It's just the Interwebz for goodness sake. Don't take it so seriously.
And no, the Mods will never reveal that kind of Information when asked.
The Orange GT3RS Skin for the FZ5 needs reuploading with a different name. I was racing online with some friends today, and they said they saw a white skin with red stripe that said GT3RS, and nothing like the one I was wearing (Your one.) so anyone who does not already have the skin is seeing a white version from someone else, and not your one.
There will most likely be a new pack when your codes arrive (Providing you done it within the 5000 limit ofcourse.) as they will take around 4-6 weeks to arrive, and we get new FM3 DLC every month!
Unfortunately, soon after that picture of my Mustang, I was abit over enthusiastic on the accelerator pedal, and I ran over one of my Pit Crew. He got back up and said he was fine, but I begged to differ....
I just came across this offer on another Forum. Goto the Marketplace and search for the game "Red Dead Redemption" and look for a video titled "Multiplayer Free Roam".
The first 5000 to download this get 2 codes emailed to there Live ID which entitle ONE download for 400MS Points, and ONE download for a Premium theme.
As I said above, only the first 5000 will get these codes, but there is no way of knowing if you are in the first 5000 so keep your fingers crossed!
The codes should arrive within 4-6 weeks. GOOD LUCK!
Just a simple shot, with abit of Sepia to make it look like an old picture. I will start taking some more pictures and posting them on here again now that I'm back on Xbox Live.
Where did you hear that? TDU1 had bikes, so why wouldn't TDU2? Not to mention the fact there were multiple shots of concept art that shown motorbikes....
Anyway, the Trailer. It looks awesome! Music was great the and Gameplay looks fantastic, although I did have a "WTF Moment" when the Ford GT INSTANTLY spun round.
Keep the brakes standard Jack. And Ignore Logitek. There ARE good garages out there which do a high quality job and don't try to rip you off.....Can I interest you in a Gearbox Recon sir?
It looks a little like a Vauxhall Insignia, and that is not a particularly nice looking car. I was hoping for it to look a little more aggressive, like the ZR/S/T's of yesteryear.
Your best bet would be to put it on eBay and see what price it gets upto. If your not happy with the price by the time the Auction comes close to ending, just end the Auction and put a sentence in the advert saying it has been broken/stolen etc.
If it's any help, I recently sold my old G25 after buying a new wheel. My old G25 was almost two years old, had no warranty, an unrepairable shifter and the Wheel/Pedals were both in very good condition apart from a occasionally skittish clutch pedal. Believe it or not, it sold on eBay for £125 without postage. It actually went for more than my new one, which I bought for £120 at Christmas.
