Although I think Dadge is being a little harsh (Though I do see his point), this part made me ROFL. I had an Image of Jack sitting there polishing his headlamps, then posting about it on a Forum, along with super duper high res pictures showing the detail, as well as a detailed chart showing how much time he spent polishing them and what amount of polish he used....
I've been spending numerous hours playing the Demo with the timer glitch. It's a shame some of the map is not finished, but it's obvious why as it's only a Demo. I did come across a hilarious glitch tonight though. I was driving down the road and came across a missing bridge (There are alot on the Demo for obvious reasons.). I pulled over to have some of my Drink, and noticed that the A.I was driving off into the water, then there cars for flying up into the air at a super high speed, then blowing up and raining debri down onto me.
It was pretty spectacular to say the least, especially when the huge fuel tankers would come along!
I'm loving this Game. I am certainly going to buy it when I get some spare monies.
Are you for real Sam? Are you really planning what you want to do to the Van over the next FOUR years?! Do you even have a Driving License ffs?
Stop dreaming, sell the P.O.S Van and put your mind on other things. You should be planning to have your own place by the time you reach 20. Not modifying a Van you nonce!
Sam. You mentioned about placing a bet on the chances of your van looking like the photoshop. I will bet you £100 that your van does not look like that by January 2011 and willl not have all the things you planned done to it.
The reason I am so confident in me winning this bet, is because you think it is easy getting £1k together, and you somehow think you will get insured when you put the C20 in there? Hah!
You really need to get your head out of the clouds kid and start being realistic.
I fill up the Daily hack all the time, and the weekend toys only get £20 or so at a time as they only come out for a few hours each weekend. No point in filling them up.
For once, I agree with Klutch. Getting the wheels spinning in that car and holding small slides may be fairly do-able to most people after a few hours with the car, but I wouldn't expect a World Class racing driver to jump straight in and get the hang of linking up corners and sliding within inches of a guard rail, let alone some middle aged man who has driven nothing but trucks all his life.
I know how high the Curbs are. I have been there. My point is the car is bouncing over them too easily. In other words, he hits the bump, and it seems the cars suspension does not compress them. The car just takes off! Then while in air, he applys steering, yet there is no understeer when the wheels touch down. The car INSTANTLY gets grip and continues going round the corner as if nothing happened.
What the funk is happening with the collision physics? I know FM3 suffered with either end of the car lifting easily on collision, but that is just ridiculous! I will reserve most of my judgement until I get my hands on the game, but there also seems to be no body roll whatsoever, and the car is jumping over the kerbs way too easily. Note how the front end gets entirely off the ground at one point, and yet there is no understeer when the car lands on the ground with the steering at full lock.
Thanks for the positive comments guys! It is no surprise that my post has been deleted, but hey ho, I was expecting it so no big deal.
And yes, I agree. I also don't see any harm in posting pictures of Edited content providing there is no download link but I guess that is a rule that we unfortunately have to stick to!
Sorry for the late reply. I have been out of Town for a day or so.
I have been reading some of your guys opinions, and it does sound like "Shin Splints". The Pain comes from my Calf muscles and then goes down onto my lower leg bones. The Pain can become so bad that I seriously stuggle to even stand.
They have been Improving over the past couple of days though. Only issue I have had was from working on a Car today, which at one point, I caught my Leg in the Engine Crane and it has caused me some discomfort throughout the day, but it is now better since having a bath.
Thanks for all your Replys. And to all the Trolls, I realize this is not a Fitness Forum, but this is the OFF TOPIC Section, which is where I am allowed to post whatever I like, which I have gladly done.
I will see how my legs continue feeling through the week and will keep you posted.
Well my daily routine is pretty non-stop as it is. Walk the Dogs in the Morning, Work all day, Walk them at 6pm, then Jog with them at 10pm-ish. Lately though, I have been doing a few odd jobs around the House for my Mother In Law, and decided to walk there everytime instead of Driving. It's about 4 Miles in Total, which I have done pretty much everyday for the past week or so. So yes, that may be the reason. I'll see how they feel during the week, as I have finished all the jobs she wanted doing.
Thanks for the Advice guys. And Crash, thanks for making me positively crap myself when I read "Leg Rot"....
I will get some rest over the remainder of the week as I have booked some time off work. If it hasn't improved or gone away by the weekend, I will see my Doctor on Monday.
Ok, I realise this is not a Fitness and Health Forum, but I thought I may ask anyway.
For the past week or so, I have noticed that my Legs are acting a little different then normal. For some reason, after walking for even as much as 5 Minutes, I start to get pretty severe Muscle pains in my Legs! It's a little hard to describe, but it feels like someone is getting a belt and squeezing my Legs, and everytime I try to move them, I get a pain as if someone is sticking pins into my Legs. The pain is coming from my Calf muscles and not my Thighs.
I'm 18, have an OK-ish diet and Exercise regularly (Weight and Treadmill exercises every Wednesday night, as well as Jogging with my Dogs every night and walking them in the daytime.) and I'm quite a stocky built bloke, and the Muscles in my Legs are very strong. I could easily run for Miles before without getting anything like this. It's starting to annoy me now, as my Job requires me to be on my feet all day.
So, any of you guys got any Ideas what could be happening, or should I just go and see my Doctor?
If your car is running fine as it is, then why bother? I must admit, I tryed a bottle of the same stuff on an old Peugeot 306 1.4 I had, and it made absolutely no difference whatsoever, not like I was expecting it to.
And why would he want to make the car more Impractical than it already is? Keep it as it is IMO. I doubt he wants to make the same mistake as Osco and make his car look daft.
Sorry Bluey, but your VagFagness is showing through again. It is purely the big exhausts that are commonly fitted to Subaru Imprezas which give it that burble.
My Brother had a Prodrive exhaust fitted to his old GC8, and while it sounded very nice, it did not have such a distinct burble as the videos posted above, and the car was timed up perfectly.
