The remake of UFO: Enemy Unknown / X-COM: UFO Defense, one of the most iconic turn-based strategies of all time is going to be released in 10 days (11 October). It's not an independent project like Xenonauts. A demo was released a few days back and there is plenty of gameplay footage.
Lots of changes, some very big ones, some smaller ones.
Perez has outclassed Kobayashi, though he's shown some impatience with all the fist waving. Kobayashi has underperformed most times he's been anywhere near the front, and seems to randomly switch between too careful and too optimistic. Sure, luck plays a part, but even though I'd really like to see a successful Japanese driver in F1 I have to suspect Kobayashi is not that person. Mid-tier.
Bug: All cars disappear and show as "lagging (...)", unable to recover without reconnecting.
Reproduce steps: Enter windowed mode while on server, keep window in drag mode by holding down the left mouse button on the title bar for more than 10 seconds.
I've got disproportionate amounts of this on Chrome and Chromium. Occasionally I have to press a link a second time in FF, but I don't get any timeouts as such.
You don't really need the data. View a fast SPR a couple of times, view your own SPR and look at braking points, throttle position, brake modulation and line. Try to do more or less what they're doing. If you do upload a lap to LFSW, you can overlay two laps and see quite easily where you're losing time. Look at the replay to see what you're doing differently.
