Am I the only one who finds all these racing drivers who are now saying "Vegas was a recipe for disaster" quite annoying?
I am sorry but if you think Vegas is such a dangerous track then why didn't you do something about it before? From what I have read, this track has been filled accidents over the years. Why wait til someone get killed to say it?!
All the cars have basically the same chassis. So what makes the Vodafone car consistently faster than the other teams? Whenever I watch V8, it's always the 888/88 car at the front.
I think sometimes people have forgotten this is a one of the most competitive, if not the most competitive sport on Earth. Accidents comes with the job description as a racing driver, and racing accidents happens.
I get that people are eager to find out who's fault it is, but that doesn't mean there is always someone to blame. You can't clap with one hand. Although I admit Hamilton has been in quite a few accidents this year, that doesn't mean it has to be his fault when an accident happens. This is racing, shit happens.
Accidents are unavoidable in racing. It's pointless and stupid to get angry over a racing accident.
Hamilton haters are equally as bad as Hamilton fanboys. Both are as arrogant as each other.
That's exactly what I thought when I saw the accident. Look at the replay and you will see Massa hesitated a tiny bit at the apex ("a tiny bit" is a huge amount of time in F1).
Hamilton didn't deserve the DT. I thought that was simply a racing accident.
No offense to the Massa fans out there, but Alonso and Ferrari's crybaby attitude is starting to rub off onto Massa.
Also his complain about Lewis in qualify is just ridiculous. It's qualifying and you are meant to be aggressive as an F1 driver. Plus Massa just wasn't fast enough. He wouldn't have started any further up even if Lewis didn't overtake him.
Ps. It's kinda ridiculous that Vettel only needs ONE point to win the championship. ONE! with five races to go.
This game is fun at times when the car is working, but it's really frustrating when you are like 5 seconds off the pace no matter how hard you try.
I drove a McLaren around Singapore earlier and damn that was fantastic. The car was going exactly where I wanted it to go, I was on pace with the AI. It was just really fun.
But career mode is really annoying me. All the AIs seem to have a lot more grip than I do, even the freaking HRTs and Virgins. I know I am not the greatest driver in the world, but there is no way I am that far off pace.
Well I have only driven the Force India so far so I am not entirely sure if that's just the car or the physics. But I have also seen youtube videos of the Ferrari driving at Suzuka in a race, and the driver had to lift quite a bit at 130R with TCS off while he was able to go flat out with TCS on.
There is more feedback from the car than last year. I can feel it when the backend is sliding out, unlike last year. The game also feels more refined.
But it feels like there is something wrong with the TCS system, or rather something wrong with the physics engine when TCS is off. When TCS is off, the car feels like it lost some downforce. Some corners can easily be taken flat out with TCS on (also in real life), but if you turn the TCS off you just can't a massive amount of understeer mid-corner then oversteer at corner exit if you try to cry more speed into the corner.
I did a clean install of 1.3 and when I tried to reactivate my account, it said no more activations available. Am i suppose to use the paycode i got when i first bought the game?
Hey Ricky just want to let you know I'll have to withdraw from the series. 19:00 is a bit too late for me. That's would be 3 o'clock in the (Monday) morning for me and I have university the next day.
Great racing from Michael. I have to disagree with Martin and DC's comments about Michael made two moves after the second chicane, but I think Michael blocked ONCE then returned to the racing line. Schumi is indeed pushing it, but you don't become a seven times world champion by not pushing the limits.
haha as a Button fan I am loving this. Hamilton couldn't get through for 10+ laps. Button got through at his first go :P But having said that, Michael's tyres were a lot worse.
