I think they should have put the DRS zone on the start finish straight. The cars have no problem passing each other after Eau Rouge. The DRS zone made it ridiculously easy. If they have put it on the start-finish straight, it would make it so much better, it lets the driver to battle up Eau Rouge.
I always thought Senna wasn't a particularly good driver, given his performance last year. He was no faster than his team mate(s), and Christian Klien came in and immediately went a lot quicker than Senna in qualifying.
But the past two days has really changed my view on him. He is quickly becoming my second favourite driver.
Pay driver doesn't always equal a bad driver. I am not a (Bruno) Senna fan. I just don't like how everyone already assumes he is a bad driver when he hasn't even completed a quali/race in the Renault.
Besides the crash at the start of FP1 (shit happens, especially for a rookie), he is actually doing a pretty damn good job. P9 in those horrible conditions in practice this morning was pretty impressive, considering his teammate was like more than 1.5 seconds behind.
I know this isn't exactly "racing" video. But it's sort of about racing :P Plus they claim rFactor to be an exact simulation of Bathurst so that's worth a laugh.
4:45. whoa what a dickhead. OH WAIT. that guy and I used to go to school together. another fine example from my old school.
I know racing drivers are suppose to be confident. But there is a clear difference between confidence and arrogance. (He races in the Australian Formula Ford championship). What a f**king prick.
Everyone is talking about set so I shall talk about your line.
Try brake a bit later and take a late apex, straighten the car and accelerate. Your corner entry speed might be slower than taking the usual apex, but your higher exit speed will compensate for it.
To register, I just email you "Worldname, Membername, E-Mail and Country". Is that it?
(don't quite get "- You will become a E-Mail with Password then". I register on your forum. Is that enough?)
I have a simple question but I don't really want to open a whole new thread for a simple question.
We have all seen footage of the old BTCC during its golden age in the early 90s. Those cars look ridiculously fast, but somehow the current generation WTCC and BTCC cars just don't look as quick as they used to in the 90s. So my question is, is the current cars faster than the ones from the golden age?
