If you go by the last race Hamilton had 2 extra pitstops, half a field of cars to pass and still ended up 2secs behind Button on the perfect stratergydon't forget Button also had clear air for half the race so his tyres will be better anyway.
I don't need to say more than that, and as you know Qualifying hasn't exactly been a straight fight, so we'll see for the rest of the season, i know who i'd put my money on. BTW Hamilton isn't some lout getting his arse out every corner, he drives with precision and feels for where the grip is, i still think he can make his tyres last as good as the rest if he wanted to but hasn't been on the right stratergy or in the right position to do so yet.
The best comparison i can think of right now is Lewis is Messi, Jenson is a penalty box whore.
How am i watching the wrong sport? Like i said i can appreciate the advantages his driving style gives. The guy can save tyres and make a few good decisions (one being quite lucky). He doesn't look on the absolute limit of the car like Lewis does, i don't understand how you can prefer Button as a driver to Lewis i really don't. Maybe i'll appreciate it more after a while as he has grown on me a little this year. I know who i'd rather have chasing me down if i was an F1 driver.
EDIT: He doesn't have the speed though does he? He has what has always been taught to be the best driving style but still isn't the fastest. Rallying doesn't do anything for me really either tbh.
Your not understanding me, i don't care what Lewis is like off track, on track he has the biggest personality and i think thats the real him, i don't think the fans have seen the real Lewis yet, he's too concered about how he's coming across etc it doesn't look natural anyway, maybe McLaren want him to be like that.
I don't see how he is a twat either tbh, i sense deep down you have something against him, maybe it's because your jelous? The majority of British people really don't have a bad word to say about him, he has flare, he's exciting to watch, sorry if i prefer the guy that's actually entertaining.
I appreciate all forms of motorsport, but you have to enjoy it, Jensons driving alone doesn't bring me any enjoyment, how can you get excited about how smooth he is? "look dad, look how smooth Jenson is, go Jenson". No.
I disagree, i think Lewis in a perfect car is still faster than Jenson. None of us have any evidence to prove this anyway, when Jenson had a perfect car, Lewis had a shit one. But when the McLaren was good in 2007 and 2008 he still beat the the most consistantly fast driver on the grid in his rookie season.
BTW I'd rather support a media robot than a driving robot. Jenson really does not do anything for me, his driving is boring and that's what racing is about right, the driving and the racing? Lewis hammers Jenson in both, what happens off the field i really couldn't care about. You can't really blame him either, when he is honest and speaks his mind he gets battered by everyone for saying things he shouldn't, i'd be a media robot too just to keep the peace.
That's fair enough, im definately not one to take lfs too seriously at all but if your putting all this time into it with race reports and shit (seems like your taking it seriously to me) then atleast do something different, theres been about 10 teams all with the same goals, same corny names, same drivers and come to the same end. It gets boring after a while.
I thought it was more. There's been lots of teams started over the last few years all in what I consider the same boat, this is another one to that boat. Its all the same, basically what's going to happen is you will be mid pack/up near the front in GTAL, try to get into IGTC and either fail or get in by the skin of your teeth, win a few minor races or leagues, then one of the management will want a break, team closes, repeat process with another name.
It's not their religion at all, their countries just don't have rules that stop it, just like China doesn't to stop this, it's not nice but there's worse things happening.
There's worse things going on to human beings, like in one of those muslim countries, they put people in the ground with a bag over their heads and throw stones at their heads until they die. I'm not saying it's right but theres more issues than this and it's not really the chinese at fault, it's what they've done for years and don't know any different, they don't regard animals/pets in the way other countries do.
That's the point though, that part of China obviously hasn't developed like the UK has, there was a time where we didn't care if an animal was killed humanely aswell.
