I suppose, i know i'd rather save the money and go on a proper experience day or save up and rent a caterham at a trackday where you can go as fast as you want.

Quote from brandons48 :Have YOU driven a Ferrari?

I've moved a 355 round the yard, yes. What's the point in going to a track to drive a Ferrari and only going 10mph above the speed limit on a road?

What does it matter? You would have been going the same speed.

I think it's more about meeting people and the karting is just a bit of fun on the side. Theres lots of other places yes, but at the end of the day it's cheap, theres somewhere to stay and your only in those aweful 4 strokes anyway. Karting isn't the reason people are going there.

Quote from Bawbag :Yea, that black one looks seriously cool because it looks as low as it should be.

So, Sam, what's the car for this week? Delta Integrale?

Nah, he said they're a bit understeery on turn in.

Well firstly, it was awesome. I did it in a 200hp elise at Anglesey with book a track. I'd never really driven a car outside of driving lessons in a 1.2 Fiat 500 so it was going to be interesting. I'd been a passenger there before and a trackday passenger since 11 years old and LFS obviously, so i had an idea for what it would be like but it was so much better.

The day started for me at 2:30 when i had my first time on track with an instructor, for the first 2 laps i took it fairly easily then it felt very familiar so i pushed fairly hard for the remeinder and had a few oversteer moments (thanks LFS ) and the only critisism being my inputs to the wheel really, i was holding it too tightly and being a little twitchy with it under braking.

After a an hour or so i asked one of my dads friends to come in the car with me who happens to be a very good karter and is one of the tops runners in LotusonTrack, who taught me completely different lines to the instructor and showed me some ways not to use the track as much. He said he was impressed afterwards so im happy with that.

Some overall thoughts, i wouldn't say it was like driving LFS but LFS had taught me alot of things, everything felt quite natural correction wise and lines etc i've been giving them some stick lately but have to say for £24 the amount i've learnt from it is so much more and suppose i have to say thanks to them. One thing i did notice, if you push too much into a corner with LFS, you tend to just understeer round it but i found in a real car the back end gives way a bit like iracing but more predictable and recoverable. And with no powersteering it is quite hard work, your actually battling with the car to turn it in.

So yeah i had a great day, Oulton Park next i think, hopefully I'll bring the camrea and get a mount for it .

Just stop trying to be something your not (tristan's little brother). I'm not going to continue arguing with you because it's pointless, we're both far to stubborn to agree with valid points each of us may make. Eventually it just gets silly anyway like you post above.

And yeah, you can stop over exaggerating the PM i sent you now, it was just a response to some of the stupid stuff you said, your reply's were equally as angry and childish. Atleast im not acting like a 7 year old girl prancing around in high heels pretending to be "grown up".

I'm not an idiot, i know why there is less overtaking in the later years of F1.

I'm not deliberately trying to start an argument with you. You try to act beyond your years and it's something I've noticed alot and gets on my nerves tbh. Just accept there is less overtaking (not just you but everyone) if you don't like it, then don't watch it. Just cut the shit and stop acting. I've already explained my thread, the amount of PM's and messages i had from people agreeing with me far outweighed the amount of people who didn't. Most of the people who disagreed with me in that thread were fanboys, trolls or people relatively new to LFS.

Just because you are satisfied with the content (though i doubt your actually satisfied) doesn't mean everyone else should be. Theres equal right for people to express their displeasure at LFS as people expressing their pleasure. Everyone has their own opinion (including you, even though yours might be slightly deluded). If everyone had the same opinion as you and mentality i'd actually rather die in a fire.
