The XR GT looks like an 86. Very simmilar. And it would be nice to see some touges but i doubt it will happen. After all, LFS is a raing simulator, not a drifting one. Be happy that we can drift and the devs are not against it. I doubt we will see a lot of drift specific stuff in LFS.
Jan the AIs learn if you let them race. Give them 100% of fuel, a full field of AIs and just let them race. Repeat the rpoces. Give them your set. They will be faster form a lap to lap.
If engine damage would be implemented better (for insatncew an engine could blow and there goes your race), it would be nice to be able to set max rpm. That way you could overrev the engine a bit but it would give you more speed. On the other hand, most racers shift at 7000-7500 rpm in the FXR and XRR so that would actually be quite useless... (rev limiting). Too much electronics style help
LeMans prototypes would be nice but some people alredy have problems with the GTRs, i dare not to think what would happen in the lighter, more powerful cars... But it would be nice to have a 787B replica in LFS illepall
v4life you must? No need to. Drift competitions are mostzly judged from replays and have been going smoothly for a while. With no driftboxes. That's just a 'gadget' to throw money away for. Useless.
FORGET IT! Didn't even read the thread, the title says it all. This is not NFSU. Don't misunderstand me. My primary activity in LFS is driftnig but do you think young kids on the real road see the number of points they collected on the windshield! Well ofcourse not. Just drift.
Hm, acually the BTCC-like idea of TBO class with slicks, etc. could fit into the same clas as the UFR/XFR. And thus, we get a RWD (XR) and an AWD (RB). The FXO stays FWD, but we all have what we want
BTCCs were mentioned. THink TBO, slicks, maybe a body kit (not as 'rude' as the GTRs ones), a bigger spoiler (between the road and GTR cars),same power as normal TBOs, racing cockpit and that's it.
OMG, so much people want to learn how to drift??? This is fabuolus. Even though the small S1 comunity (which i sadly wasn't part of, missed it time-wise) had very few **** drifters and the average skill was very high, this is still great. Drifting in LFS is evolving and as a part time racer (and almost full time drifter) it's wonderful for racers to be interested in your 'discipline' It feels great to be the master and the racing masters to be the [star wars]padawans [/star wars].
