You do know, i hope, that the safety car is just a normal car? In F1 for eyample it's some C class 63 AMG. In MotoGP it's the M6. etc.

Ah, that's what you mean. I thoguht you meant problems for begginers that don't know not to bash the throttle. But it is obviuso that would happen, yes. With 600 bhp, flooring it would make it spin the wheels just slightly, not necceserily sliding. ANd we have frction which causes a rise in temps. WHich means we get less grip and more wheelspin.

Well since we can have any car we want (because the cost is not a problem9, we'd take the fastest car. THen there's no point in making 2 or 3 cars of the same class. Unless they are balanced out to be roughly equaly fast. That's why the FZR has an H pattern and has mroe balast than the XRR and FXR.
Regarding the boxes, have no idea, just read somewhere that Porsche's sequential boxes are insanely expensive.maybe it's down to more or less being merged with the diff because of the position. That would make it a lot more complicated inside. We need tristan or someone alike in here, fast!

I think the thread starter wants to turn the engine off if you hit the barrier in south city, or better describing it, brush the barrier. It would be some sort of a penalty. If it would be done relaisticaly, i don't see a point in turning it off in banger racing.
Track day cars and stuff may not suffer from brake fade, but what about the average day (i.e. your mom's) car? I manage(d) to overheat the brakes on the punto in like 3 corners, braking really hard. But on the other hand one of the corners was 100-30 kph, going from 4th to 2nd on quite a steep downhill 
Sequential boxes are veeeery expensive for Porsche racing cars AFAIK. Thus only the most wealthy teams can afford them (Alzen had an H in their 996 biturbo).
ciaoadios sentences were inveted for a reason. Same goes for commas and dots and all the grammatical stuff like that. Makes the reading much, much easier you know.
Adding more and mroe cars to the same class does add variety. But in the world where you can choose whatever car you want (LFS), everybody would just take the fastest car (well, almost everybody) so you're back to square one with the excepton of making and trying to make a few cars competitive. Making them more or less equal is very hard, as has been proved by the TBO and GTR classes.
They do simulate road cars. They are UF1, XFG, XRG, ... THe problem is in the licences.

Well a turbo version could be in the supercar region (GT2 style). Not exactly pure supercar but it'd be close.
Not stupid, just too 'the same'. Generally people want new cars, not different looking same cars. We have the XRG, XRT and XRR and people say that is enough from the XR brand. That's the thing. I'd like an AWD FZ Turbo, a faster GTR class,make the 'RB6' a totally different, a much bigger car alltogheter, forget the LX6 and 8 GTR versions, these cars aren't meant to be made as racing cars (though they have been, with great success, but that's just not it, not without some massive aero work). For the 'RB6', maybe put a 2,5ish V6 in the FXO and turbo it up for the FXR, leaving it AWD. The ITC Alfa 155 had a simmilar thing going on (though i think it had a different alltogheter engine, still N/A). Would love LMPs (did LFS GT, would like to do MoE someday) and generally anything that is meant t be racing in endurance races.
That and touring cars. Le Mans GT cars and WTCC. And DTM.
SHould be fun. 'Too bad' i have the final exams on that weekend (english on saturday and slovenian on monday) but it won't be too hard to catch a glimpse of the action from the Nord.

You mean GeForce 8? Any GF 6, 7 or 8 will prolly do, depends on the resolution. You'd get through even with an FX.
