to level out even the fxr with the others you probably need much more HP in that car. allthough the fxr has other advantages, not top speed but with handling AND damage. this sucker is massive as a tank...

But in a normal race an FXR or XRR uses the tires well before the fuel tank. We were doing LFS GT on blackwood (3 hours) and had to pit on every 45 minutes due to the tires. We used about 75% of the tank by then i think. FZRs could just use the whole tank.

Variable geometry has been in diesel turbines for quite a while. Petrol engines have a too hot exhaust, that's why variable geometry is hard to make work there. Racing cars would prolly have more heavy duty turbos which more or less goes against variable geometry as that is a sophisticated, 'gentle' ttechnology. For a GTR that's supposed to do endurance races, you want beefy, manly and strong components.

AFAIk you ahve to upload it in 1024^2 (because it's 'the standard') and it resizes it to 512x512.

For that we'd need engine/turbo damage model. Run the boost at full al the time, your turbo blows up. SO you'd need to find the right balance.

LFS Tweak would be very fun to have. Too bad all the cars can't be edited... Can you say FZR Turbo??? :> And i'm aching to see some 'new content' in LFS; even if it is S1 and old. It just the idea of 'what if'... Though, trying out rTractor with V8Supercars and Gallardo challenge, i must say i'm VERY happy LFS doesn't get mods. If it does get them, make it as tricky as RBR (which is modded through holes). That way only THE MOST persistent modders will try and make add on content which is 99% guaranteed to be very good.

I can see you're a Honda fan... Well, a JGTC NSX knockoff would be nice, just to have an MR GTR. We have the raceabout that's MR, but NSX's chassis was tuned by Senna...

FZR is over tired. A turbo version would be all good with these, the current one should have smaller tires (which would even out the class).

Countles requests for Silvias, XRT is quite close to them so it'd be more or less pointless... Editing cars should stay in Need for Speed series, thankyouplease.

I sign under this post. Removing the radio, A/C controls and stuff leaves HEAVES of space for all the gauges you'll ever need. Pillar ones are just rice. I'd rather gave them screwed on top of the dash in the centre, showing the wires, screws, everything, just a U shaped metal bracket for it. Still better than this and it's straight to the point AND doesn't obstruct visibility nearly as much as a pillar one. If you think the pillar one doesn't, take the FXO or FXR and drive it around the city. Try to nail the apex without seeing it...

FZ50 supercarged sounds weird. it has a flat engine which is quite unfriendly to superchargers. Actually, mostly V engines are friendly because you just slap in ontop. I'd prefer a turbo FZ, it's be more Porsche like

Wow, that one looks really nice. Very fast too. If it was longer, it'd be a blast in the GTRs.

EDIT: And it has quite a few passing opprotunities for the lenght too. The hairpin, the 90° onto the cadet part, the hairpin before the S/F, especially in the reverse config (imagine roaring down to the braking area full speed )

It's best to shift the FXR (and FXO) at about 7k rpm and the LX4 at about 8k. Well below the redline.

Club wouldn't work very well like that, you have quite a lot of banking going on in that part. Maybe go a little bit forwards on the oval section, go into the infield and then have a tunnel under the oval? Would also make an Oval entrance point for all the truck carrying the cars for the Oval and national races :P

The small cog in the front is usefull only on REALLY steep ones yes and even then i prefer to ride on the middle one in the front and the big one at the back. So the small one is used only for REALLY steep hills or for going slow and easy

An inline or V6 for the FXR would be nice. Still turbo powered and small (around 2,5 litres). An N/A V8 for the XRR would do wonders too but i'd really like to se the FZ50's engine turbocharged. Can you say a 700 bhp AWD FZR?? That would create a new class, yes. I'd also like a wankel engine, like all, some big engined, fast road cars (V10 or V12) and some bigger turbo engines. That would be covered with the 3,6 flat 6 turbo and the FXR engine but i wouldn't mind a simmilar one in a road car.

It was said many times. An Evo or STi knockoff. And thinking about it, wouldn't an MR knockoff be just great? SOmething to go into the LFR class. Insane amounts of grip, maybe make it a bit slower in the top speed department but make it rule all in the corners. But enough about chit-chat, i just LOVE the way it looks so high and squats when braking. Thats what got me!

F-40 would be (IMO) better. A V8 turbo powered Go-kart which can do 200 mph.
