FE Gold, second to last corner before the long straight (bridge), hit the wall becuase i got on sand, destroyed the car, etc.
I also want to know what you find unrealistic. I can't fin a single aspect of the game that is NFSU-ey (okay, drifting, but at least it's proper drifting, not like 'OMFGWTFBBQ!!! Look at that Civic drifting the whole track!!!!'). If any of the games written in the first post, i fin rFactor unrealistic. I hate ISI's engine feel. You drive and drive, you have no feeling to what the car is doing and then SNAP! The ass passes you. At least in LFS you can correct it a bit, depends on the car (not much correcting in the XRR, let alone the FZR, but the road cars are quite forgiving, same goes for the FXR, i don't drive open wheelers )

I was thinking more about making the TBO class race prepared to be competitiors for the UFR and the XFR. That would mean no rallycross tyres, however, they would have more downforce, maybe even adjustable, but then the UFR and XFR would have to be edited. No prob for the XFR, it already does have wings, a slight problem for the UFR though. Maybe Eric can sneak that into the update (the UFR mesh is supposed not to be finished yet).
UF GTR seems fine to me.
You can recive a setup if you are spectating. You can't send one though, because you're not using one and LFS sends THE ONE you are using.
I told this many times, once again. Touring cars. Yes. XR, FXO, RB4 with slicks, some body kits for more downforce, a bit more power and you won! W/E/BTCC alike!
I had the same problem as you axus. Understeer, some more of it and on top of that, even more of understeer. Now, after a 10 and 30 lap race on town course, my problems are gone! I'm tail happy again!! 
Aren't the rear lights different on the real car? I think the have a round brake light in the middle (well, there is a round light in the middle, not sure for what )

Even now the fidelty of changing the gears is weird, but hey, it's a game In real life the teams would get to the track with little or no chance of changing the gear ratios

My RAM usage on the graphics cards sits at 24 MB, at least it says so in the game. And i have 128 megs. And i'm running 8xAA/16xAF on 1024x768 on a 6600GT. Wouldn't mind nicer and bigger textures too
Thrust... And slat flats... Yopu're going to take each car, get it to max speed and say 'yawn, move along'. Other cars are at least usable on tracks, what about Thrust SSC? You won't be able to get it around that corner on Blackwood, let alone the chicane. And the straight is too short for anything.

Yeah, i know that. They reduce the top speed dramatically. They were introduced when? At the turn of the century or close to that, right? (somehow i've gotten an idea of 2002 being the first ayear with them)
