Sorry, I don't have your experience in LFS, I am new, I may not be qualified enough to give you advice, but as someone who has lived 7 years longer than you, and this seems to be more than a sim racing problem, I am just saying this.

You can try this indirect way:
1. Configure such that only someone with say 100000 points can drive BF1
2. Manipulate stats in Limad5 and make admin have 100000 points

Ya ya, what I meant is the effect may be more pronounced in road tyres, because, the wear will remove the ridges/groves and hence they may make road tyres flat like slicks, more surface contact area, more fritction, hence more grip.

Try Lynce's Revolution Pack. Also there are a few active FX Interiors link, just search for them

So factors which may reduce the speed
1) Reduced circumference.
2) Possibly more deformation due to tire-wall thinning.
3) Overheated tires, reduced grip levels etc.

Factors which may increase speed
1) Lesser mass and moment of inertia of the worn out inertia of the wheel.
2) Probably more grip especially in road tires because, a worn out tire may approximate to slick and hence more contact area, as PMD reckoned
3) As someone above said higher internal pressure, as Troy reckoned

So it depends who wins the race, the factors which increase the speed? or the factors which decrease the speed?

2 more issues.

Issue 1. I qualified 30th. Gerrit qualified 31. Start of lag lap I was correctly positioned at 30th. But I Shift+P'ed to make some fuel adjustments. When I rejoined, I am having pole. I was baffled as to what to do. So I try to let others pass but that ends up in catastrophe. Luckily it was lag lap. But generally if you Shift+P after gridding then rejoin, you should be placed in same position

Issue 2. Now gridding for real race, all of a sudden I am last and Gerrit is in front of me. LOL.

If you only HAD S2 and you don't HAVE S2 now, then even if someone makes a skin, how will you use it ? If not able to login, what is the name of that S2 account ?

Although you cant modify textures, I hope you know that you can change the dashboard colors, needle color etc for single seaters in Options->Display. You can also change virtual clock colors there

2) Even better, for a moment your car was caught between the small gap in the 2 pit walls. In some weird physics (which sometimes happens at high speeds in LFS) your car passed through the wall and u were inside pit LOL! That was epic!!. Else you cud have stuck in no mans land.
