Veyron has 1000 hp and I doubt it's faster even on slicks, I think 50 hp difference is quite besides the point.. They gained a lot more time by using slicks
And I would argue that neither the Ferrari nor the Zonda are road cars.
Klutch, I agree on that also. I have personally never tried MDMA, but I still know quite a bit about it. Actually my mind set is that it's almost(?) NEVER worth it to legalize a drug, because it does not decrease use.
So absolutely, MDMA should be legalized too. Along with dozens of other drugs As that might actually decrease abuse of the hard drugs.
I'm sorry, but there is simply NO argument against legalization that cannot be somehow picked apart.
Although I am a bit more skeptical about legalization of other drugs, one thing I do know is that the prohibition of ANY substance does not correlate with a decrease in use of this substance. The war on drugs is simply useless, and proof of this can be found in how the price of every drug on the street has decreased in price over the last 20+ years. Supply is getting higher and higher, and along follows the demand.
Cannabis needs to be legalized NOW, and the war on drugs needs to end. How to handle the other drugs? Perhaps the answer can be found with more research. I have personally not cared to research any other topic than cannabis legalization.
PS. Stop calling it marijuana, it's a term made up by the US government during the early drug war to relate its abuse to mexican immigrants. Cannabis is the real name.
A new processor would certainly work, along with basically any PCI-E graphics card that you can find.. Even a $40 one should be significantly better.
My suggestion if you ONLY need to use it for low-spec games for LFS is a card like the nVidia G210 which can be had for around $60, and is clearly able to run LFS at highest settings in 1680x1050
This probably means that adding people at this point would DELAY the release of the new physics, although it might speed up development several months from now.
Probably because popping is simulated when a tyre point reach ca. 200 C, and the tyres become soapy way before this point. I certainly don't know any tyres that are heated to 200 C, they stay at a lower temperature and pop because of wear, not temperature (mostly).
Huh? I understand that brake temperature has no effect on the tyres, but track temperature of course has. And AFAIK temperatures currently only affect the tyres in terms of cooling them with the ambient temperature. But there's more to it
Seriously, I don't know if money would be a motivating factor here, but I wouldn't mind paying for the new tyre physics if that could push the development ahead faster. Just create a new version with the physics and make people pay for it. Keep support for the old physics for a while, but eventually step away from it IMO. It seems to me like the motivation is lost because it will be a LONG time before more money will be earned. This doesn't have to be the case.
At least I'll see what I can do in terms of comparing a real Scirocco to the LFS one, when it finally does come :P
I probably won't be taking the real Rocco to a closed track though
Noone drives a freaking A class. It's a shitty car, whether you care about handling, comfort or whatever. B class is the same..
A decent Merc (C class) will set you back approximately 30000 euro for the base model in Germany.
CLC base model with a 130 hp BE engine that averages 7 l/100 km for 26000 euro is quite awesome IMO. And their new BlueEfficiency engines aren't exactly power machines, but a lot of reviewers say nice things about them + very efficient.
And 26000 for a car is really not expensive for a lot of Germans. So IMO it's a good choice.
