Hi R34 King . im in your exact situation, I can suggest a car/ series of cars that you may like to check out (hopefully you can find one - they are currently only made in africa and U.S.A. suprisingly ). Not to mention its my favourate car next to the Nissan skyline. the Nissan Datsun 120y , 180y, B310 , [EDIT] just did further research and either the 2 litre is impossible to find or its the 240z. But im pretty sure they are all FR.

[EDIT2] check out the B110 , B210, B310 series here

This is off the top of my head, so I may need to correct when I find a way to pry my brother off of the new sexy beast.
new pc ATI Radeon HD 2600XT, laptop Mobile intel (R) Chipset, old pc SiS 630/730
new pc dual core processor @ 1.80 Ghz each, laptop 1.73 Ghz processor, old pc 896Mhz
new pc approx. 2 gigs of ram, laptop 1 gig of ram, old pc 376mb of ram
new pc Windows vista, laptop windows XP, old pc Windows XP.

new pc scores 4.8 overall in the system score thingy in vista with the gaming score at 5.9, runs lfs with max gfx settings at 60-90 fps max aa max af. Laptop runs lfs at 22-80 fps randomly no matter the gfx settings, old pc maxed out at 33.5 fps on patch U, 4 - 20 fps on patch y obviously with gfx at lowest.

the only thing that can burst my bubble right now is the fact that i don't have my wheel software + lfs car settings on the new pc, yet.

Quote from Mp3 Astra :Congratulations! Were you really nervous? Also, consider taking "PassPlus" for an extension to what you already learned. It'll probably take your insurance costs down a little too.

I just had my second driving lesson today, negotiating roundabouts. They're pretty interesting things, roundabouts. I also drove at 60mph so my instructor obviously trusts me, even though I'm only at lesson 2

I must be exceptionally talented!

Same exact thing here, except it was km/h

if the homemade shifter is a FFB-joystick like mine, you may need to turn down the centering spring settings. I hope i helped, you didn't give much info on the shifter...

The path to enlightenment is a LFS NolaG twin turbo
powered by XRG ( wider tyres now kplzthx )
this setting was meant to be a turbo spool test alone, but it ended up as a 3litre 4wd skyline ( habit of mine )

p.s. do not cut out or else.

I stopped offroading when I bent my rim to the point where it would cost more to get it fixed/replaced, than to get a new bike. I then got a road bike for free and upgraded as much as possible to standerds of this melenium, except the tyres those are cross-ply.
I plan to take my uncles bike from him and start offroading again - ( he owes be a bike since he gave away the ( see pic in post #16 ) which i asked for ) - when i get tired of the tarmac.

Current Bike - Raleigh Winner ( old cheap road bike ) i removed all the parts that are usless before 6 pm, and then some.

broken thingy in the shed -( cheap MTB ) spent 100 dollars on it for a nice shock set ( i take apart everything i own no matter the expence the knowlege is priceless (tm) ) -written off-

sign me up, i think Lerts is brilliant. Things like this run through my mind often, but not to such a high level of understanding, however i do not bother speaking of such things with others.

Quote from evilpimp :Lol I was wondering indeed why he was using his handbrake so much. Doesnt it slow you down?

He needed the extra braking pOwA! to slow down the new subbie beast ....no, really it depends on what his honourable brilliantness was using it for, maybe the subbie was understeering too much on corner entry? I don't know, i wasn't driving it.

wow nice vid, very entertaining. yet nobody dare to comment on Mr.Tsuchiya's almost "frequent" use of the handbrake

I hate the new sti, but i agree with the reasoning behind the new football mom car(refuse to say soccer...wait sh..). Im inexperianced and would probably get flamed if i tried to explain to detail why its so ugly now...but, in simple terms Marcus G.(i can't spell it sorry) drives a 4WD superfast hatchback & Sabastien Loeb drives a citron (not too sure about spelling here either, but therefore hatchback = better than what subaru once was?

EDIT: probably also the same reason why the evo's are running with their wings closer to the roof/glass area, something to do with aerodynamics?, only thing is the evo didn't go as far as to switch to a hatchback.

Quote from BlueFlame :Well, it seems like my side of the argument repeats itself because the DRIFT side of the argument don't seem to realise the only thing a new 'specifical drift car' can bring is just plainly 70%cosmetics. You are repeating yourself aparently...

Iwas afraid that posting here would get me banned, but screw it.

Blue Flame, name one car that did not introduce more "cosmetics to LFS" when it was introduced. What is cosmetic about a street car (LFS has these.) that has a track specific stats in the info menu
instead of the daily driver cars that we have now. I can't come up with an idea for a car, but a daily driver, which has been "race prepped" (roll cage and all the standerd entry class begginners modifications that would increase the efficiency of the said track car). something LFS doesn't have a track car that can still be used as a daily driver(in reply to this I would expect nothing less than someone saying that the stock cars in lfs are track cars, because they can be setup more than an ordinary car.) bull. in the end they weigh a ton (literally) and would never be considered as a track car, with or without the ability to set them up. I lost that urge to continue writing this argument...on a side note. I tweaked the XRT to have +800cc and 2 more cylinders (personal preference) and an overall weight of 970Kg it was brilliant, but it lacked proper tyres.(R4's anyone?:tilt..
