ah wait...since u say recently how about this solution, Maybe you acceldly turned something off that helps with your braking such as the brake help under ESC>Player>brake help ON/off ?
It may or maynot be understeer, caused by your braking or down shift timing into or before the corner locking the wheels...but im not too good on front wheel drive cars :\
giving the AI slippery settings help alot with throttle controll too, and when they stop sliding the car on a setup such as this just give them a better setup and they keep improving.I love my AI its faster than me :\, on a few tracks.
I have personally experianced wierd things using tweak. For instance i was hearing people ask for chassi flex but as i recall very clearly in LFS tweak for Q i made a 4000+ horse drag car and set the rev time to 111 (it makes the tranny seem like powerglide -and it gives instant power) it took a while to rev, but at 6000 rpm or so the front left wheel in my XRG rose slowly off the ground i checked again with forces on and this was the only wheel to leave the ground, and upon looking at the car from the front it seemed twisted/distorted/scary/wicked/cool ...end
lol i saw that once...(don't ask)..he had surgery to his front legs because they weren't "workin" or somethin of the sort snd he learned to walk on 2 legs when his new owner held up some food he/she would stand up to get it
there are other Station models which look exactly the same as our beloved XRT...you just got to know where to look...WTF, what a coincidence theres one on tv drag racing a motorcycle."winer - Starion turbo" wins
you hear gear wine ... im gonna sit and dream/wait till LFS gets a hillclimb course/and or circuit with hillclimb and downhill (erase the corners which make this dream track fun to understand whut im saying and u get a very large oval). p.s. my signature.
i realise now that i only drift cuse well...i find it fun/my pc is too slow for me to bother racing on a "bad(net)day"/ and my experiance drifting enhances my skills in driving very fast however my drift times are too close in relation to my speed times for me to understand where i go right/wrong and it makes me happy.
that was one of my favorite episodes of Malcom in the middle LMAO...oh and doors i coulda sworn i saw opening doors somewhere >.> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaOs29_RnJg
i have the exact same controller cuse i have no other choice. I used to have these same problems and i finally figured it all out the joypad is old so i would sujjest u get a new controller but neways...esc>options>control>axis>calibrate>(procede to move the axisto their full extent>leave the axis centered>hit all the little c buttons(don't need to hit all but i can't name them atm>lock calibration>esc works for me all the time but this controller is weard and has alot of jitteryness while playing although i have gotten accustomed to goin with the flow of the gamepad and my fingers compensate :P GET A NEW CONTROLLER SAVEYOURSELF :'(
