Xpand Rally has this, If you hit something hard enough, you can break your legs or arms or other body parts, or knock your driver out, or totally kill him.
I don't like it because it takes the fun out of totally trashing your car.
Yes it is weird. Also, the MRT5 engine I think has its peak power WAY to low. It is supposed to be a high revving street bike engines which have the max power/torque near the redline.
EDIT: Did a little research and came up with this...
The Real life MRT5 has these specs -
1997 Yamaha YZF600 engine. Garrett Turbocharger
85 HP with 4 32mm carburetors
75 HP with air intake restricted to 19mm.
The actuall bike the engine was taken out has these specs -
Horsepower: 94.6 bhp @ 11,000 rpm
Torque: 47.72 ft-lb @ 9500 rpm
Fuel System: Normally aspirated by four Keihin CVKD36
And the LFS MRT5.
Horsepower: 64 bhp @ 7894 rpm
Torque: 51 lb-ft @ 5071
Yah, I think the MRT5 in LFS is very underpowered.
71 Processes, 3ds max and 8 open, rendering scene in max 8... playing video, UT2k4 and LFS running. Winamp.. many more... and no slow down... What is this "Choke" you talk about?
Yes, this is what I REALLY want!!! Also, maybe an Offroad spot, like hill climbs and mud to go through. the RB4 is a nice offroader with the right setup.
a -5 Rail is not required... Nothing today runs off it... Most new Power supply's dont even provide one.
and the ****ed up screen.. i get that when i overclock my video card to much... check the clock on yours and make sure they are at the default... if they are then check the heatsink to make sure its dust free and not overheating.
EDIT: it could also be bad drivers, try a newer or earlier version.\
EDIT2: here is my speedfan. My old Ultra X-Connect 500W did not have a -5v rail.. my new psu does
Also, just plug the floppy drive connector into the card.. You HAVE to have it plugged in for it to work right.
like i said.. the devs need to use pre recorded sounds... you cant simulate everything. Plus pre recorded sounds would cut down on cpu load.. and overall sound 500% better.
