I did say it's nothing special, but in context we were both flat out fighting for position and i'm RIGHT on the limit of grip and he's a quicker lapper than me on an open track so a an achievement by MY standards maybe not by you pro's though

Just watched these for the first time, amazing videos!

One question, what's the music at the start of the Final? before the 'in car dvd' is switched off, really recognise it!

Ahh ok, was wondering how people got the 'zoom' effect in the movies.

When I shift U, it goes to an external view that you can move around, but still seems attached to the car

Hehe thanks I knew that bit but I believe you can change the Field of view and unattach the camera from the car too, those are the ones i'm looking for

What are the keys for the custom views? I'm looking to make a nice edited movie, i've got editing skills but not LFS view controls LOL.

If someone could point me in the right direction, apologies if this is better suited in the movies or assitance section, I wasn't sure.

Oh and good spot indeed, that's a formula Ford! and I know what you mean about the slower cars, especially as they were using the full GP track on sunday, there were a few Mini's but they seemed to be flying round and the pack split up so much there was nearly constant traffic.

On the flip side, the F3's came round so quick they were soooo tricky to shoot

Had a great day at Brands Hatch on Sunday, weather held out and the cars were stunning!

Some highlights:

1. Slightly dented 360

3. TDI power! this won the race! yep that's a nice plume of black smoke! haha

In the PS2 Version of Richard Burns Rally it was like that. You configured the Game to i.e. 540 Degree Lock and then when you reached 540 Degrees the Wheel stopped because of some constant Force that was applied by the game.

If you reached the end of 540 Degrees I COULD turn it more because I am MAN and MAN is more STRONG than WHEEL *ugh*! illepall

But even when driving a Rally car very wild the Force applied at the 540 Degree Lock was strong enough.

THIS in LFS and the DFP / G25 support would be perfect. It´s just annoying when you have to look at the Wheel on the Screen to see when you have reached maximum Lock
But S2 is not finished yet and I have some hope :-)

Sure it does that in LFS if you set the max lock to match in the wingman software? exactly how you say, you CAN turn it more... but it gets uber stiff.

Just wondering, how is the 6 shifter going to work with LFS? as that only has controls for Change UP and Change down?

lot of people will want to drop lots of gears in one go, after spins, or aggressive down-changing etc...

perhaps really vary it with some rally at FE6 in the LX4?
Finish it off with one of the excellent autocross layouts that are doing the rounds?

Just vary it enough to keep interest and excitment high but try to keep it level field? let us know what you finally decide on and who wins

We're both using wheels, and both have had the game the same length of time, I'm slightly quicker usually but mainly cos i'm more smooth rather than outright pace.

We're totally flexible so pit stops and drag races are all good suggestions

Hadn't thought of autocross either, that'd be fun in the LX6 maybe to add a little trickyness into it.

I'll let you know the outcome
