Yeah I forgot to remove that old ENB mod before recording the first 10 clips and decided to leave it in, for this video atleast, not to have to redo the research and recordings. But thanks for reminding me, taking that ENB mod off right away!
And thanks for the welcome back.
I'm not sure tho, if I will be driving again, but I surely will be recording more old footage purely to save them I guess.
It's been a long time since I stepped foot in here...
Recently I've been reworking old results from events I've hosted, purely for my statistics hobby.
Between 2009 and 2013 I've (together with amazing people) hosted over 150 races/events/etc as Team Rock Racing in Live for Speed. A time of ups and downs, as I was going through an extremely rough period in my life. And people that didn't truelly knew me, probably thought I was some insane oddball, but that's what you get if you don't explain yourself...
I also noticed there often was a race or event where crashes occurred, honest accidents in the heat of the moment.
I am slowely starting to record some of them. In my spare time beside my YouTube "job" and work for mCon esports. And I will turn them into more episodes of LFS Crashes.
Here is part 1 of the classic crashes series, being LFS Crashes #8 (no music added, like most of my YouTube videos)
I hope you'll enjoy, feel free to leave a comment here or on YouTube, thanks!
Wowzers, sorry to hear this is going on, on my old favorite hangout in LFS.
Just this very night where I wanted to have some LFS fun for the first time in god knows how long.. And I see no [TC] servers and questioned myself HAVE THEY QUIT??? Luckily you guys didn't, but the reason the servers are offline is very, very saddening...
Hope you guys find a solution soon and that we'll have time to do some catching up. Missed you lads!
I was about to sugggest to use a code similar to the Mirror codes, where you can either choose a fixed position(right corner as you suggested) or, for the map, rotating, but then you can slide it to what ever position, left and right, as you (the player) likes? But within the screen border?
As I've quit LFS for good early 2016 and picked up video-editing again, I decided to make one last LFS Crashes compilation as a last goodbye to the game/sim that kept me entertained for so many years.
I used many unused clips from over the years, and this is my final good bye to you lot, thanks for the fun and hate we shared, after all, we all shared 1 love, Live for Speed!
Can't wait for the update! I am really liking the fact that you guys communicate a bit more with us.
And Scawen and Eric, keep up tje great work on this ever so great sim. After going into my 13th year as an LFS driver, I'd gladly wait a couple more weeks if needed! #GoLFS
And Victor, thanks for your continous work on this great new website!
If anyone wants a standard LFS server with FOX, without airio and just simple user can select track stuff, I could easily host that.
Infact, if someone would like to have a racing server on LFS WITH or without Airio (when he has the knowledge on how make it work with Airo), I would gladly offer 1 or 2 LFS dedicated hosts!
I might have put a slightly moaning post last week, without an actual intend to moan, since I really love LFS and just feel sad for many mates leaving.
But Scawen, thank you for not giving up! I had/have to deal with my disablities in life, which make me unable to get a job. LFS has over the years and still... given me a great pleasure in life, I've met close friends on this great simulator, some of the ones I see on a regular bases and have fun with.
Without this simulator god knows what my (and our) lives would have looked by now. It gave me a safe place to have fun, and I would really like to thank you, Eric and Victor for delivering this safe environment, where I got to meet many of my friends!
