Even if we never gave a real attention to this detail it would be nice to have a special helmet for gtr/f1's. Because it's more realistic (realistic is the word that fit with lfs): when you have a powerfull car such as the gtr irl you're not using a simpel helmet...
During these past few days I was searching on the internet (and on the forum!) to get more informations about proxy sock and how to use it but without success.
So I was just wondering if it's possible to use a proxy sock (like a ssh tunnel) to ge my lfs work behind my firewall? I can't unlock ports because i don't have access to the firewall but using a proxy sock give me a full defiltered connection (IE, Msn, ...).
So is there a way to encapsulate the lfs connection into a sock connection (Possible under windows? Or with linux and wine then another soft) ? I heard about java program abel to do this? Anyone know more?
Is it possible with another type of connection (such as vpn)?
Is it planned to implement in lfs the proxy support?
Just a little detail: i'm in an internat so it's not to play on my job but to play at "home". Currently i can't play online with lfs at all . So thank you for your help!
P.S.: Currently i can list servers using 8080 for Master Port but still can't join the host.
Finaly it's right, there is only a few user who have a special clutch pedal. So i think this idea should be post into the suggestion forum. A lot of people will surely like the idea to have a virtual clutch axis added to there pedal.
Talking about realisim in lfs is quiet important, no, it's the most important. After all, it's the main interest of lfs. But, come on, let's get back to the real deal of this patch and let's forget the handbrake. I think that if Scawen decided to remove the handbrake support of lfs for any kind of raisons it won't hurt me so much. I don't use handbrake
We are here to talk about racing, not talking about how realistic should be the parking break.
It is possible to do. After all it's only binding a key to an action but you need to made it.
Script like that were made before (a program that modify the behaviour of a bind). Like the one wich switch the light on (first press) then switch it off (second press). More advanced script where made for the "City like" servers, especially for the cops who have to press ligth+horn+warning light keys what was quiet hard. Now all these action are activated / desactivated with only one keypress.
Unfortunatly i didn't bookmarked the topic wich talked about it bu use the holy Search button and you'll surely find these scripts.
You don't want a drift subforum? Then don't go to read/post in this subforum!
Lfs is not only a racesim, its a pretty good driftsim so why wouldn't have any support or special subforum for this kind of race?
In an other way, drifters may said "Why a league subforum is it so important ?" ...
Anyway, even if there will be trouble with FnF 13 year old gamer posting crap and shit other drifters will surely enjoy a place for them when a lot of people don't like them
But i think this option should be incorporated into LFS so the newbie can use it and avoid crashes easily. And more professional drivers can desactivate the feature.
Hello,
I searched this forum to find a similar report but can't find anything.
There is a bug with the LX4, a part of the car stay black and can't be skinned. I don't know if its a bug or a will of the dev but it's ugly. See the attached picture to see the bug.
This bug is not present on the lx6 it's why i think it's a bug.
