It's not a matter of braking pb, we all've some day wanted to see at wich speed the car goes. It's just a test drive and should be properly done. In my case i'm never speeding if there is people on the street. You can risk your own life as you wish but not invole 3rd party people.
The problem is that evrybody don't have a track or an authoban near by them. And event then, going on a real track can be more dangerous than just speeding in a straigh line wich goes uphill and wich you perfectly know (in my case).
The main thing to remain is that by speeding you increas dramacticaly your chances to crash your car, hurt you or somebody else and finaly it just save you some seconds, one or two minutes on a long way. Does it worst the price? In lfs: hell yhea, on the street: not for shure. I won't like to live with a death or whatelse on my conscience

It takes 24 years of developpement to bose and use 4 magnetic suspensions coupled with an high speed calculator wich calculate the most stable configuration of the suspention at any moment. It can react in less than 1/20 of second.
Seems to be pretty nice and soomth but I totaly agree: it's not for speed cars but road cars since suspension is one of the most important feel input with wich the driver need to be familiar to realy feel what the car is trying to do and to tel you.
Still, it's an impressive technological advance. Good job from Bose (in boston) !! I'd like to have a try with these suspensions Maybe in the next incompatible lfs patch

Mine is 220km/h on the highway (4 bands road), at 4'o clock. It was a climibing one and they were nobody around. I'm just speeding on climibing road, it's there that you realy can find what a car has under is bonnet and how well a driver use his car's potential. It was in a saab 9.3. Soo much torque with so few hp, that's what I like !
I'd rather use clean trajectories on normal roads instead of be fast and dangerous. It's more plaisant and more usefull. Speeding just for speeding can very expensive when cops join to the party.

My issue is that in dIrT the carrier don't save.
But i've figured how to solve it: sell this pieace of shit. Micromachine v4 has a better physic engine than DiRt

I like the LX4, it's suit perfectly for autocross as said before but I also think that it would be a good idea to use it as a race car on Race_X server but unfortunatly it don't fit in any other class than the LX itself. In particular the LX6 wich is in it's own world.
With the multiclass support we absolutly can put LX with other cars OR with the restriction intake and weight addition we could try to balance the LX to be with another car as you've briliant done with the XFGTR/UFGTR and the big GTR's. An insane bet? Not so shure ...
When I wasn't able to join online servers I used to play offline on bl gp against AI fz5 in pro mode. In the straigth the fz5 eat the lx4 but coming in the corner is a whole diffrent story. I know the AI drive like ass but it was quiet a lot of fun.

Yesterday I just had 200 races.
Today i made 9 races (all on CTRA Race1). Here are the details from LFSW.
6 Times frist, 1 time second and 2 times third.
But on MyCtra it said I've only done 205 races. From 39 wins to 41 and from 93 podium to 98.
Edit: For two of these race (where I was first), we were only two racers. It explain why 39 -> 41 wins but not 93 -> 98 podiums.
I Join the tab result. I'm maybe (certainly) too tired to understand
Edit2: Ok i figured out what's wrong. We need to be at least 4 drivers in order to "registrate" a race. I thought it was only a minimum of 3. Sorry for the inconveniant. I'm a bad detective

If you see points of brigth ligth even if you close your eyes its a "migraine" (don't know the word in english). When you get it there is quiet nothing to do. I know it I have somes during this hollydays after worked too hard and sleep few. What I do in these circunstances: Stay in the dark (important since any ligth is painfull), lay on my bed and just relax by taking deep breath, don't think to anything (even to the automatic gear box suggestion) and most important find a silent place. It's more easy to say than to do, i unfortunaly know it

For the podium I confirm it's on the web page, in MyCtra. When the first discussion about it occured I checked on lfsw to see if I wasn't making any mistakes. I know the way to check it out: Going on a server, win a race and be 2nd in another race. But i can't do it now cause i'm going to leave soon. Maybe tonight I will have time, i'll try to.
For the yellow flag progress I now understand your vision of it. Not a problem I just thought the yellow bar was representing the pourcentage as it does for the other stats.
Finally, for the record I was talking about the "Ctra's WR" not the users pb. But I think its a bad suggestion anyway due to the among of data. There record are offen broken so forget about it.

It's not a question of equal chance because the stats are personal. So we don't realy care to see the other's stats. It's interesting, yes, but not vital.
I vote for the reset of the stat to get a fresh and clean start. As somebody said: stats are useless if data are eroned.
There is something wrong with the current stats i think (maybe will be fixed in the next ctra's stage?):
- The podium (we already discussed of it even if u don't remember
): i'm convinced that the Winned race are not comptabilized in the Podium stat wich would be logic since when you win you get on the podium. I remember at the begining I had 20 podium and 20 win (or something similar, 2 same numbers) wich was false. I did win 20 race but also made some 2nd and 3th places. I don't only win or totaly lost a race. So stats should have been 20 win and 40 podium. Or i should learn my math again - The yellow flag %: I'm not against, it's a good thing, but shouldn't the progress bar be inverted? I currently have 18% of yellow flag of 262. So the yellow part of the bar should be smaller than the black part isn't it? But it's not.
Now one suggestion/request: Is it possible to keep the old personal records? When you made a record of a lap and when this record is overtaked it just dissepear. Wouldn't it be possible to keep ip and show that it's a no longer valid record (with +x.xx to get it again ?). It's just to keep an historic of our record. I'm currently holding one but I get another one in the past and now I just can't remember on wich track it was and what was the time.
I Think it's quiet random. But, if you are on the server you can seen when the track is going to change, just type $track. It will display a lot of usefull thing (number of race before change, time before restarting if race is over, lap consumsion (depending of your car), race fuel needed, ...)

yep, i recomend you to subscribe to ctra: http://www.raceauthority.com but take care of your driving. You can easily be banned. The good point is that there is only 2 cars at the begining (xfg/xrg) but all track are used. So This will be usefull for you!

The big problem is that there is no way to see and feel the wind. So it's hard to adjuste the brake zone. In blackwood, near the start line, there is flags blowing in the way of the wind. It would be cool if we can get some sort of wind flags (Like this) near the corners entry.

But there is a problem: As said before the 2 admin system won't work. Plus it's quiet rare when you got lot off admin on the server AND if they're on the server it's to race not to rules it.
So let's forget this method. The second one is the vote system. Cool idea, quiet easy to implement I guess since there is already a vote system but here is the problem: only the few people badly involved in the crash and/or pissed off by a reckless driver will vote. Each time I play lfs and there is a kick/ban vote it take AGES to get it completed. And most of the time it's never completed ...
Example:
XXX voted to kick/ban/black flag YYY [1/??]
ZZZ voted to kick/ban/black flag YYY [2/??]
Vote canceled
Then loop to the first line of the example ...
It's totaly understandable that people who are racing would rather focus on the track instead of reading the chat box (full of swairing/accusation between involved drivers before the begining of the vote). Another issue is that people are just pressing 1 without knowing what was realy done, just to get rid of the situation and be able to continue his/her race peacefully. It's why, IRL, there is people (who don't take part to the race) who decide in place who is the driver to blame instead of the drivers in the race.
