When I'm lucky enough to get to see races with multiple classes on TV I notice that the slower guys often use turn signal indicators to acknowledge the guys lapping them.
My questions are:
1) If I'm being lapped and I put my left turn signal indicator on does that mean I'm going to move over to the left or I want the guy to lap me on the left? Or is it simply enough to acknowledge the guy and he can figure out what I mean by my racing line?
2) Can I map the left/right turn signals to buttons on my wheel? I've got the red momo with 6 buttons and I really only use three of them. (look left/right and speed limiter)
sorry if i'm repeating anything but i don't have time to read the whole thread at the moment.
the TSN web page had the wrong time posted so i missed the first 20 laps. but tsn tends to do things like that.
from lap 20 to 62 the camera man was ONLY on schumi or alonso. that was a bit of overkill. there was the odd 5-10 second snippit of a mclaren but i can't recall seeing a williams, torro rosso, red bull, or anyone else UNLESS they were being lapped. that was annoying.
are you serious? this is the first weekend i'm happy i don't have speedtv then.
unfortunately i'm stuck with tsn canada. they're ok for live races, but the pre-race show sometimes has vic rauter (sp?) and gerald donaldson. now gerald is a bright man, but vic................wow does he ask stupid questions.
and if a race is tape delayed you can GUARANTEE that the tsn ticker will scroll across the bottom of the screen during the race and tell you who placed in the top 10. those dorks at tsn are pure geniuses.
...... doesn't it seem suspicious that two years in a row they've started off with a semi-good-enough car for the first few races and then when they show up at their home track they've got a world-beater F1 machine all of a sudden?
as i remember last year their car wasn't that great after imola again as well. but maybe i'm remembering incorrectly.illepall
all i know is that this is the second year in a row they've made an incredible improvement for their home race. in fact, it's more of an improvement than most teams ever make with a car package update.
maybe it's just meillepall anyone else see it this way?
i agree with what you're saying, but once the car has taken it's "set" in the corner there isn't a lot of bodyroll or weight transfer that's going to change. at that point is when i was feeling the tire sidewall flexing.
the big question is, do i stay up and wait for its release or go to sleep knowing it'll be there when i wake up?
when i took my datsun 240z on a high speed run between two cities and over 1100kms i was able to feel the back end wiggling as the tire sidewall flexed. we can't all afford low profile rubber. if you look at the pictures of the lx4/6 and the little compact car on the teaser page you can see quite a bit of tire sidewal flex. if that was real you'd be able to feel it.
The American rookie later told a home audience that he had to stick up for himself to prevent people taking advantage of him because of his nationality.
i was hoping to see a new car of some sort, maybe rain, sand brought on track by other cars, etc..... ANYTHING. JUST GIVE ME A DAILY PIECE OF INFORMATION
oh, and how's my picture? do a rank anywhere up there for dumbest pic?
can someone post those overhead shots of aston again that show the entire track? then can they outline the new and old circuits with different colours?
i don't know all the configurations so it'll help me see what's new
i'm new to working with mocrosoft word equation editor and i can't figure out how to make an exponent. i'm putting some numbers in with scientific notation and when i try x10^3 or whatever i want to represent i can't get a superscripted exponent. and i can't even chose superscript as an option.
can someone help me out? maybe post a screen shot if possible so i know which menu option to go to.
