this forum has never failed to get me the answers i've needed and i'm hoping someong can come through for me tonight again

i'm over at a buddy's house and we're trying to run an S-video cable to his tv. he's had it working before so we know it can be done. for some reason it is flickering (rotating off of the bottom of the screen) and in black and white.

i thought it might be set up in PAL or something similar but it's got a 60Hz refresh rate applied to it.

does anyone have any clues as to what might be going wrong?

ok, the first reply was roller coaster tycoon but that other place, replacementdocs.com had railroad tycoon docs. unfortunately the pdf isn't fully readable. i get "Q"'s all over the pages instead of words.

I gave my dad my old computer which had Railroad Tycoon 3 installed on it. He spent his entire career as a civil engineer with various railroad companies and he's loving the game. the trouble is that i don't have the instructions anymore so there are all sorts of little things he's missing out on. i remember some of them, but me telling him doesn't let it sink in.

Does anyone know where i can get a pdf or computer text version of RRT3 instructions? is there a site anywhere that has multiple instruction manuals posted?

picking teams based on what country they have their homebase in doesn't seem to have any weight behind it. i think they're finding a cheesy way to exclude trouble makers and bring in "FIA friendly" teams

every press release by the FIA or Max Mosley just makes me more and more sickened and disgusted.

tristancliffe, i can totally appreciate your perspective on this, and i respect the way you've presented it. seeing the "mistake" at full speed this morning did make it look less like a cheating move, but regardless, schumi has gotten away with SO MUCH CRAP in the past that even if this was a bad call by the marshals it doesn't bother me one bit.
