Because I was watching some stuff from Sim Racing Inside, and I saw a recap of the VWTCC and I hated how BMW always dominated every time... (a TSX was close to getting a place)
But looking at iRacing reminds me of Spec Miata... LFS should include Spec Miatas to hookup with that series...
Ah, okay... Just curious, what is this thing with Fortec (I read it in the first few pages)? I haven't been playing LFS for a while.. (been busy with Internet Marketing)...
I just want to start playing again if there are connections to professional series racing. (I seriously need a wheel or a stable thumb...)
If I constantly just go on V1 servers to practice driving in my spare time (Playing LFS) instead of screwing around in drift servers, I would have a chance at participating in some part of the V1 program?
EDIT: Btw, Sam, just curious... last night when I was in the V1 servers, I kept seeing names popping up in the corner of the screen, of people trying to connect. Most of them do connect only to be kicked a second later, what is that about?
Hey.... that would handle like what I suggest with the armored cars...
But imagine the understeering and the yawing and the car rolling that would happen if they put that in... xD
And imagine all the "Indiana Jones style" videos that would appear on Youtube, with a XFG trying to run away from a truck rolling full speed down the straight sideways.
If it is the end of that long straight, then I just try to stay as close to the left as possible and then brake and heel toe down to third, then I go off from 4k to redline and then shift back to 4th.
My apex for that end up being very deep past the exit of the corner. I never actually need to step on the curb while under lateral G. So it doesn't matter if there is grip there or not.
I am hoping to get called in for an interview and recruited to participate in the qualifying rounds, I am hoping to be able to prove it that way. And... it would be tight to just have a packed bag at school to tell people that you are going away for a "prelim round this weekend".
But also... Three epic films, must watch back to back to back...
-Glengerry Glen Ross
-Wall Street
-Boiler Room
AMAZING!
By the way, I recommend seeing Babylon AD, just for the action, and for Vin Diesel arriving on a screen since forever. But the plot line is really shallow and it is unsatisfying at the end.
Mmmm you see 14 year olds on the track.. for the 2008 season, It is very newb oriented. So as long as you can drive, you get into qualifying then you start to go up against the best of the nation.
It actually kind of sucks that Cannabis is so violently criminalized.. I saw "Chasing the Dragon" and I saw that people were arrested for minor amounts of Cannabis, I saw that and was kinda laughing, over how petty the cops had to be.
