Can you post some external views o with that mod your doing please?

It works perfect for me once I dont use AA but as soon as I add AA the mod goes crazy.

The only way this works properly is if AA is turned off. Otherwise it looks like somebody wiped Vaseline all over the camera lense.

I like your thinking (the creator of this thread) Some people that have been playing LFS for years forget that once theyy were noobs also.

I would also like to know whats going on with the LFS database. The site has been down with months now. Surely it couldnt take that long to redo the site.

I seriously cant help you with that because your shortcut should be like mine. which it isnt and I dont understand why because I have never seen a shortcut like that. You will just have to type the insim into LFS manually. Unless someone else can help you with that shortcut.

Now where did you not understand the fact I said your DESKTOP shortcut? I didnt say the shortcut in your LFS folder did i? Now either your lieing about not being a computer noob or your just winding me up because I told you in the simplest way possible and you still come back with a stupid answer.

Right click the shortcut for LFS. Select properties. and in the box that says target add the insim part. then save and play

I dont use those messenger programs because I find them annoying. You said that you have experience with computers so why is it so hard to understand that you download versions 12 and 17. Unzip v12 to your LFS folder first then unzip v17 to your LFS folder overwriting the dll file. Modify your LFS desktop shortcut to

C:\Games\LFS\LFS.exe /insim=29999

start the game with the shortcut and the gauges will work.

As I know how self centred a lot of people are on this forum I will try to help.

First download the gauge v12 Then install v17 overwriting the file in the rar file. To install the gauges unziip the contents of the zip file into your LFS folder. Then modify the shortcut for LFS on your desktop by right clicking it and go to property and modify it to say

C:\Games\LFS\LFS.exe /insim=29999

Assuming you have lfs installed on your C drive.

Now guys that wasnt too hard was it. Instead of being selfish couldnt you just have helped.

Have done 3 mods on the cluster... The scale now contains the "10" to be more accurate, the LED's became cluster lights ( PIT, TC, SHIFT and FUEL ), and had added the gear counter on the cluster too...

I downloaded this BUT first I had to edit the ini file to make the gauges fit my widescreen monitor but then the needles and green gear thing dont fit properly. Ill post a screenshot asap

That maybe so but I dont play LFS as often as I used to.

I have noticed the handling getting better for a while now. The cars seem to stick to the road better than it did 6 months ago.
