Im happy to se traction control on the cars. I can now drive the fz with TC enabled and the car will still spin if your stupid with it. All i can say is i hope more cars get it and if you dont like to have Traction control in your car then TURN IT OFF

I can drive the fz5 now because of the TC. I have noticed that the cars are more controlable too and my FPS has gone up from 100fps - 135 fps on Blackwood.

Quote from Mogar :TC on FZ50 ???????

IMO, it's far from necessary.... unless the new tyre physics made the cars much harder to control

I am delighted to have TC in this SIM.

Quote from Nick_ll :That could be called the "patch effect".
It's a theory that says that when a bunch of people are waiting for a patch, they will all eventually turn to retards and/or n00bs.
The effect is caused by the fact that a few people (generally serious posters) say something that is misinterpreted by someone less serious and then the wheel gets running and some people begin posting stupid things, which eventually gets more people to do the same........
......you people know that regardless of the age of each indivitual forming a crowd, the average crowd mental age is between 3 and 5 years old?

Let's play games while waiting for the patch.
Let's do the wave
:laola:

I like the way you put that. It made me laugh man

Quote :no... just people being wating impatiently

I agree that theyre impatient and being NOOBS too because instead of starting one thread after another of the same subject and spamming the forum why cant they just reply to an already started thread instead of starting a new thread awith the same subject and spamming the forum. It only makes sense not to start thread after thread of the same thing.

Holy crap theres enough threads about the BF1 , what kind of changes will the handling be and whens the patch out. Im just as anxious as everyone else but im fed up of all of the threads with different names but with the same subject.

Quote from der butz :Hey there,

I think it's about time to tell you my opinion about what so many people want to have in lfs.
Maybe this is a thread especially for the "new lfs enthusiast" who might have played nfs or other games and wants to have an acura or integra or some other fancy things.

First of all; did you ever try to read a thread about what other people want? Every single day there are posts about

new cars (mostly ricers, some open wheelers and last but not least lawnmowers, bmx bikes and others)

new tracks (Nordschleife, LeMans, Isle of Man...)

Mods (wings, NOS, bodykits homebuilt car models, sounds etc etc)

If you want to post something like this, then be sure that nothing of these will be implemented in lfs just because you (or you and 50 others) want it.

There will be no money spent for licenses on ricers or tracks, it will stay a racing game and not a style contest. Therefor you may alter the suspensions but you will never have the chance to "upgrade to lvl 4 NOS" or stuff like this. It would make races boring.
So pleeeeeeeeeeeeez first read other posts and don't be the 1821341st who wants to have his NOS impreza EVO MXVCIII in the game!

OMG theres another member of the developers. If not then you cannot predict what will be implemented in the future. Let the decisions of what is added to LFS to the devs.

I am moving from ATI to Nvidia because my last two Graphics cards burnt out last week and ive heard that Nvidia cards have better bang for their buck. Im investing in an XFX 6800 GS XXX which has amazing specs (Find the specs @ http://pcgames.extremepcgamerz ... index.php/topic,28.0.html) My previous ggraphics cards were Sapphire x1300's (in crossfire configuration) and they only had a large heatsink with no cooling fan on them. I kept telling the shop owner that i bought the cards from that they were overheating and were artifacting. I didnt have the cards overclocked and i had 2 cooling fans placed on top of each card hoping they woul cool enough but a month after i bought the cards they burnt out.

So anyway i would reccomend to buy a graphics card with a cooling faninstalled and something like the XFX 6800 GS XXX because its not too expensive (279 euro here in ireland) and it comes with 2 free games. I have my card ordered and should have it next week.

I would love to see a track thats between 12 - 14 miles long with lots of corners with a long straight section. Im not asking For nurburgring but a track that would be just as twisty and fun to drive.

I bought a DFP 3 months ago and the only trouble i have with it is the accelerator pedal loses calibration sometimes (it shows 80% accelerator instead of 100%) so the solution for me is to unplug the pedals from the wheel and plug them in again and they will show 100% accelerator

I have a semprom 3100+ (64bit socket 754) in my computer and it runs beautifully with all new games i throw at it ie. F.E.A.R. 45 - 60 fps , call of duty 2 25 - 40 fps , LFS 60 - 90 fps or rfactor 30 - 60 fps. I know the graphics card i have (asus radeon 9600 pro 256 mb) has something to do with the smoothness in those games too but without the CPU i have those games wouldnt be as smooth and stuff. But next year im going to upgrade the cpu to an amd athlon 64 bit 4000 or 4500 , PCI-e motherboard and ati x***

Quote from Macfox :Just a heads up, for those that use this great wheel. It seems Logitech have dropped support for this wheel in the latest wingman profiler v4.60 and future editions.

http://arstechnica.com/reviews ... logitechffwheel/front.jpg

What does this mean.... Well no x64 drivers will be available for this wheel at all. So if your planning on using Windows XP 64 or Vista, then it's a no go for the wheel.

Those that might have one of these classics and want x64 support to continue, you might want to head on over to the www.wingmanteam.com forums to let them know what you think. Ask them politely to include support for this excellent wheel.

Rob

they have released the XP64 drivers as i have quoted from the wingman website

Quote from Wingman Team : We are excited to inform you that Logitech Gaming Software v. 4.60 has been released. This is our first release to support Windows XP 64-bit Edition. Check our Latest Software Page for details.

I have downloaded the XP64 drivers and i am getting myself a DFP in 2 weeks time.
