as3 is always busy, the rest, well i have seen maybe 8 public people use the blackwood one, the MRT one sometimes has a few on, and the kyoto one is empty much of the time also

a "GTR League" is always going to have its hands tied if the general public only really like 1 main combo

i feel the fastest drivers are awesome no matter what, the problem seams to be people who *think* they are fast

the previous leagues were aston nat only, the new upcoming league will have a variety of tracks

i think its been held back due to the new upcoming incompatible patch

the problem is, conedodgers have been hosting a few other gtr tracks/combos and nobody ever uses them

the majority of GTR drives only seam to like aston nat, so your guess is as good as mine

we have had a few good team races on other tracks, but the general public dont like them?

you might have been on the conedodgers servers, but that is not a representation of the league racing when in the higher leagues IMHO

this is quite interesting, the last league race we had at conedodgers in division 1 (as3gtr) was amazingly clean

and at the same time, dam fast




enjoyable racing IMO, it was definitely cleaner then the racing i had in the lower divisions (ie with the slower drivers) although i was a second off my usual pace as i tend to swap the gtr cars around each round and IIRC i had been using the XRR all day and then jumped in the FZR for the race without realising

i have been going down the start finish straight at aston nat in the gtr cars twice now and this has happened


flat out, game stutters when somebody joins, next thing you know the car is going sideways into a barrier

2 montors is more fun, but i just cant get any decent laptimes with the twin monitor setup

useing "davews" recent patch sound pack, if i deselect all sounds ingame except the turbo and dump valve i can not hear them at all.

not sure if this is a fault at my end or not, i was racing the gtr cars today and wonderd where the turbo whine noise had went ?

that is what i figured, but i am unsure if it will run 3 displays at 1024/768 screen res and still let me play online

i fancy a 3 monitor setup now..

i`m currently running 2 Sharp 15" TFTs, they have a max screen res of 1024x768 each and they are cheap as chips to buy

the problem is, i`m not sure if the old 9700 pro will be up to the task, bearing in mind they are only going to be running 1024/768 per screen, is it going to conk out ?


i read some posts from scawen which susgesdted he may try an old 9800 pro he had lieing about, but i`m unsure if he did or not?

if the 9800 pro works then i would assume the 9700 pro should be ok as well ?

if i had to start buying new GFX cards then i will just wait until i build a full new system, and do the kegetys soft mod instead

i have a mate who drifts with his 200sx and he has a locked rear driff, and he says its a bit "twangy" when driving around roundabouts (its his only car and he delivers chinese food in it PMSL)

Most of the fast drivers in the FZR GTR cars on conedodgers dont use a locked diff to be honest

i used to play s1 as a demo user, but that early picture is well beyond my time

i would bet the car still drove better then the ones in Rfactor TBH LOL

its an old asus a7n8x deluxe board, which was the daddy at one time

also not really sure if my 9700 pro radeon would power the TH2GO setup?

my 2 TFT`s at the moment are matching sharp 15" jobbies, with a max screen res of 102x758 (or whatever is closest)
i can pick another matching sharp up for around £50, but i will be a bit gutted if i then have to shell out for another GFX card (the 9700 pro was cheap )

i tried to like it, i really did, but after losing cars even though i was in a garage when leaving, being hit and ended up in a marshall zone through no fault of my own, etc etc, i decided it was complete shite

i would rather drive my own car on the bloody M25 in rush hour, then mess about with that server again TBH

after investigating, i did a search on the BT home hub, to find large amounts of people complaining on forums that it randomly disconnects, for no reason?

i have removed this from my system and went back to an old BT voyager router to see if there is any difference.

the only problem is, i have just bought an xbox360 so i have not played LFS for a while LOL
