Have you tested to see if these things are already included?
I've never noticed these things, but that may be more due to the fact that fuel and tire temps play a much bigger role in the activity of the car, while the effect of the tires(excluding grip levels) is of secondary order.
I think TC would read the acceleration, not the speed. If the acceleration is greater than expected, the impulse supplied is limited to compensate, through throttle cut(LFS, saturn mentioned in first post), brakes (gm cars like grand-ams for example), or by altering the differentials electronically (F1, WRC, ..).
TC is pretty crap in the snow, I haven't found a use for it
I'd like to see these kinds of effecs MORE in LFS. Real life isn't fair, it doesn't provide consistent conditions. So a game aiming to simulate real life should realize this.
I was just letting you know where Canadians were racing in leagues. But yeah, I would rather race with the whole continent, there isn't that many Canadian racers. We're also spread out by 3.5 hours of time difference which makes scheduling these things tricky, reducing the field even more.
I think people develop cracks mainly because(in no order):
a) you get free stuff (software, notoriety)
b) it's a challenge, solving problems is fun!
I can count the number of crackers(software protection crackers) who have been caught on one hand:
Dmitry Skylaraov and DVD-Jon. I'm pretty sure neither of those guys wanted to get caught, since they both plead not guilty and were acquitted.
I don't forsee the online part of LFS being cracked since it uses an authentication system, even if it were cracked it wouldn't go unnoticed very long.
I think Kimi will be able to beat Massa, he's easily the better qualifier, and will prove to be the better racer. I think Kovaleinen will beat Fisi cleanly, and the Renault will again be a great car. The Mclaren will keep breaking down, so not a real shot at the championship for Alonso. Honda might win a race within the next 7 years.
Webber?! That's a bit optimistic.. I think he will win at monaco this year though
