I think you mean Champagne.
And hate to break it to you, but many real life races are concluded with a "shampagne ceremony" to congratulate the winner/podium.
This idea gets a +1 from me, although the description is a little bit arcadish
TVE, the trackmania thing came to mind as soon as i saw this thread's title hehe
Couldn't have said it better myself, Stu.... It's absolutely unfreakingbelievable that these numpties have the audacity to complain about new developments. Bunch of spoiled little brats.
I could totally understand if this was a pay-for-play service where there was a monthly fee involved... but for effing sakes, you pay the dev's their 24pounds/~$45 USD and get unlimited use out of the game. Stop whining you numpties or go back to NFS with your nos, ugly body-kits and the oh-so "ultra-realistic" physics...
Im surprised the dev's haven't given up based on the totally crap attitude from 95% of the people posting here... LFS has new things coming yet people always start bitching moaning and complaining.
It's pretty simple really.... If you aren't happy with the speed of development or the new things they are bringing to us, uninstall LFS from your computer, remove LFS forums from your favourites and be gone.
Oh look, here we go... yet again. Must be that time of the month... Honestly, you got called a twat and a prick. While what was said may be a bit out-of-line from a mod, you definitely deserved it. I'm sure you've been called worse things in real life, so grow up and stop being a drama queen.. sheesh
This server is in serious need of admins who are not afraid to use the kick button regularly to get rid of the idiots runing everyone's races. Get some or start doing this!
I can't count how many times i've watched wreckers go about lap after lap knocking ppl out and there would even be two or three AMG guys on the server, chatting amongst each other... and guess what? nothing is done about the wrecker... even after they have been told several times.
We will be hosting an open practice session tonight for Round 1 of the 2009 XRT Stock Car Cup.
We will be starting at 7:30PM EASTERN (GMT -4) with a full qualifying session. Qualifying is expected to take about 20-40 minutes depending on how many drivers show up. YOU MUST QUALIFY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OPEN PRACTICE RACE. A 60 lap race will then follow shortly after qualifying.
If you need a bit of practice before Round 1, come on out and have some fun!
