Because so much of the GTR's handling depends on the computer controlled AWD system. Now, do you really think Nissan's going to let polyPhoney have their precious Porsche killing algorithms. Of course not.

That's the problem with trying to simulate real life. You have to actually simulate it.

They dont need it. They just have to make a special IF CAR = GTR THEN PHYSICS = DONT APPLY tweak for GTR and problem solved.

For some odd reason I always wanted to say that.

If that jaguar by any chance looked like the XFR, and if it drove like XFR, then yes, the devs could sue them, if they wanted, on the basis of stolen design. But since that Jaguar looks nothing like XFR, neither it drives like one, there is no basis for lawsuit.
