Hamilton's teammate preferences: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/h ... t/formula_one/7076956.stm

If Kovalinen goes to McLaren, that leaves a gap for Alonso at Renault. Seems pretty straightforward. Can't imagine Sutil in a McLaren to be honest, Rosberg could do a decent job though.

Apparently he's headed to either Renault or Red Bull this year (can't see Coulthard putting up with his whining, mind) followed by Ferrari in 2009.

Hehe, quite possibly. Mac stereotypes are fun though.

Yeah, but who wants to hack a Mac? All you'd find is someone's crappy home iMovies and GarageBand circlejerks. Also, it's not like there's any wild viruses for Mac

WRC because sure, the drivers know the track beforehand, but it still takes balls of steel to go blasting through the countryside and sideways round corners at 60mph.

The GTR looks like a hell of a car but I'm not sure why Nissan chose to split the Skyline into two totally different cars after the R34- it's spiritual succesor is the supercar Nissan GT-R but the direct brand succesor is the Infiniti G35 (an average crappy sedan).

Random fact: Polyphony Digital (of GT fame) designed the in-dash display thingy for the new GT-R and will release the car as a download for GT5 on the day the real car is released.

Wasn't there a topic on this like a week ago?

I use the CX300s and they sound good to me. Nice bass and detail, everything's there. Apparently they rival the E2Cs too.

And to whoever was dissatisfied with the 465s, try a pair of 212s if you're on a budget as they sound great for the price. If you have money to burn, get the HD595s as they are the best Senns you can get without requiring an amp. I own both the 212s and 595s and can recommend both.

All school admins are the same, mine were terrible when I was there. All they did was use pre-setup RM stuff throughout the place.

Quote :Sleep = low power state, where either CPU is turned off/low speed or everything is "shut off" but RAM state is kept with power, if power is lost, Session is lost.
Hibernate = RAM state saved to hard-disk, full shutdown. No power use, can unplug PC, take it elsewhere/leave it unplugged, plug it back in, resume session on power up.

Wrong as far as Vista is concerned. On Vista, what you describe as Sleep is in fact Standby. Sleep on Vista is Standby followed by automatic Hibernation when the system has been on Standby for a certain period of time. If that makes sense It's an incredibly useful feature.

EDIT: Please tell me if I've been getting it wrong.

Seen this before somewhere. Should be decent as long as they don't let any spolit Ferrari-driving footballers drive.

Quote :Wuss . I worked at a grocery store for 7 years...

Health and safety says 8 max when you're on your own but my record is 16 I think the store record for most trolleys in one go is a hundred and something with two guys and a lot of rope.

36 on your own is impressive.

Wahey, completed Portal in one sitting. The story is brilliantly eerie, funny and I want a Weighted Companion Cube for Xmas!

Also, the gameplay is great. Had to use a walkthrough for 15 and 17 though.

*TiJay is a part time trolley pusher at a supermarket*

I drift 8 of them at a time!

Seriously though, trolleys are like the RWD LFS cars in that the "flick the back end out and apply power in the direction you want to go" rule is very useful. And because of bumps in the road etc pushing them sideways is quite useful

There may be a way to make TDU run in DirectX 7 mode which would vastly improve your FPS but sacrifice shader effects.

And I would estimate a 400W PSU.

Anything by Shure, Etymotics or Ultimate Ears will be good.

However, if you don't want to spend £50 on easy to break objects, consider the Sennheiser CX300's- they're supposed to more than rival the Shure E2Cs and are only £18. They are also superior to the Creatives mentioned at the start of this topic and don't lack bass.

However, like all IEMs they're something of an acquired taste as you have to get them sealed in your ears perfectly and they're not exactly comfortable to insert.

NOTE: Get them from Amazon as they might be fakes from third party sellers!

I've been looking forward to Portal ever since the first trailer and playing Narbacular Drop The whole creepy robotic voice and the hint that there's something more sinister to Aperture Science on top of what should be a great game really appeals to me.

(Haven't played Portal yet )

How can people say Top Gear is dangerous when Fifth Gear is driving prototype supercars without racesuits? At least Top Gear always makes sure their presenters and Cuddles are safe!
