I have a Mk5 Zetec 1.25 16v- first car and I can't really fault it. Nippier than a lot of 1.4s from other manufacturers and it's the last decent Fiesta (except for the ST and ZS) Ford made. All newer (Mk6 Fiesta, Mondeo etc) Fords are just heavy, ugly pieces of crap.
I think it'd be quite interesting to play LFS afer drinking because I think after seeing themselves drive drunk in LFS, people would never drink drive IRL.
Hi guys, I'm not usually one to ask about this kind of thing but it has me stumped.
When my Firefox opens, it loads my homepage as normal but the address bar has nothing in it. I can navigate to other pages by typing in addresses as usual but the address I type stays there even if I follow a link to another page. My Back button has also stopped working, yet pressing Backspace to go back works fine.
This is on a 2 day old Vista Premium laptop and Avast and Spybot checks have come up clean. There are no suspicious system processes running and I run NoScript so I don't see how any Javascript-based nasties could have got in.
I'd be grateful if anyone could please shed some light on the cause as Googling hasnt helped- is it simply an error or a sign of more serious malware?
EDIT: Sorry guys, I found the cause- the bloody Polar Rose plugin had gone wrong.
If you knew your PC has USB issues, wouldn't it have been sensible to wait until they were fixed before buying a new USB device (which wasn't likely to work)?
You'll need something like VNC or a web-based service like LogMeIn installed on both PCs. However, you will not get the sound on the laptop and you can expect about 2FPS from the visuals, as all the remote-control apps do is send an interactive screenshot to the client PC.
She was trying to avoid DUCKS. Avoiding a deer/cow/anything big enough to **** her car is fair enough. But what kind of idiot endangers other road users by swerving onto the wrong side of the road to avoid ducks? Pretty damn dangerous if you ask me.
This isn't just a new feature in cars either- older Fords can do this as well- my Mk5 Fiesta has the option to display digital mph, kmh, revs, miles left in fuel tank etc instead of the trip computer. The Toyota Yaris has a digital dash too. So it's feasible the XFG etc could have some kind of digital tacho too.
I can't stand women who drive big cars they don't need and think they own the road either. I push trolleys at a local supermarket part-time and whenever I see someone going the wrong way, parking between two bays or not stopping for me at crossings, it's usually one of them.
As for the silly bitch that hit you, I'd try to get dangerous driving charges against her to be honest.
The 3330 is still the best (most reliable, best for phone stuff like calls and texts- and Snake!) phone I ever had. The 3510, (which I never owned) on the other hand, is a piece of crap anyway, so my advice is buy a proper phone like a cheap Sony Ericsson.
I know it's just a dead battery but I had to get my opinion in
Audiophiles DO live a subjective life (at least the headphone ones) because each brand has its own distinct sound- neutral/emphasising certain frequencies and advantages/disadvantages. It's all down to which sound they prefer.
