Have insurance rates suddenly shot up for 19 year olds or have you only recently passed your test? I had a Ford Puma (1.6) when I was 19 @ £1500ish a year FC. Cheap to buy and insurance is reasonable, maybe worth a look?

The 550D shoots 1080p at 30fps and 720p @ 60 (may be wrong about that last figure) and was only £620.

Fring - best IM client I've found simply because it doesn't have a blinding white background.
Ovi Maps - free satnav with 3D maps. Nuff said.
QuickOffice - good Word etc editor, wrote most of my dissertation on this in a coffee shop (thanks to the phone's flip-out QWERTY keyboard).

That's all I need really. Air Control or whatever it's called is a good game... Didn't help me pass the NATS exams though

I bought a 550D recently and would love to get into shooting video with it as I love the cinematic look of SLR video with the blurred background etc, have you seen the Nurburgring 24H video shot with a 5D?

Well it's a paid for game but there is a demo. I think it's bloody cheap on Steam so check that out before you look for a torrent

Haha, I think that's why people love Amensia - everyone has a story to tell about it. Mine is a cautionary tale:

I found the letter from myself at the start of the game and couldn't figure out how to progress. I knew I had to escape the area so when I saw the hole in the ceiling, I set about gathering crates and spent 2 and a half hours slowly stacking crates to reach said hole. Many failed attempts and "Jenga" moments later, I finally succeeded and leaped through the hole with a great sense of achievement... into nothingness. Turns out I'd jumped outside the game world and all I had to do to escape the area was flick a switch in the room where the letter was...

Amnesia is an indie title by Frictional Games and available on Steam/The Internets. Basically, you wake up in a castle with no idea who you are or how you got there... and hours of brown trouser moments ensue...

I find it a lot less painful than previous GT games, but that's because I have the Chrome Line and Stealth cars. Doesn't mean it's not a challenge though.

EDIT: On a random note, tune an Autozam AZ-1 to the max and stick it on soft Sport tyres, it's brilliant fun! Then buy another one and keep it "stock", it's equally enjoyable.

I bought my last personal plate for £250 (was literally County-Year-My initials) and just gave it away with the car. Looking at a rather tasty one for £600 at the moment but really, is it worth it...?

Good luck selling it, I couldn't find anywhere that was a relatively easy sale, hence giving it away.
