I have yet to find a mod that works properly, although I have managed to get the historyx mod installed and now it starts with the oldie pictures etc.

I am still having problems though graphics look very cartoony and "low res" looking skins, I am using a KB that has not got the number pad so cannot adjust any realfeel settings, so it still feels bad and looks wrong.

Its such a difference from LFS that works in high res almost off the bat, seems to me like with Rfactor+mod you need to know how to adjust every little detail in config files etc, I don't have the time for all this, I just want to race somthing at least partially realistic

Too much effort and expendature for me with little return as yet, still very dissapointed.

What you need to do is pop on our vent channel one night and we/ Boogle can walk you through setting it up. He is very good at it:-) I haven't talked to him yet but I'm sure he will do it no problem.If you have someone to talk you through it it only takes a few minutes.

Sorry to say this here but the HistoriX Mod when set up properly feels way better than LFS. When you come back to LFS it feels dead. No bumps, wheel pull, no lightening of wheel in understeer situations.
If we could get some dedicated racers that are setup with this MOD we would run a league. But we need to have a good user base first.

Mine was easy.

I was starting to do photography on a regular basis and needed an email for clients. So (Toddshooter) was born.

Yes I have the DFPGT and it rocks on WinXP and Win7 as well. No Problems in the 6-7 months I've had it.

Yup that was me doing my first Legends Advanced race:-) Was great fun!!

Just started my one month trial on Friday. Have to say so far it is impressing the hell out of me!!
Week 13 races were ever half hour which was great. Now you have to wait a bit but I guess this is so you can get some practise time in. If anyone is interested add me as a friend (Todd Martelle) and we can hopefully race together.

Loving the Spec Racer Ford

All those red barriers make me Leary of running this in a competition.
The layout PMD did for this track has a handy way of getting everyone onto the track. It only takes one person to explain the process once and then all is gold.

I'm looking forward to trying this tonight though. Is it the same dimensions or different from the other layout?

I mean Havoc was running the XRT on a new install and he had ABS. I was specing him and told him the reason he wasnt burning tyres was because he had ABS on. He informed me he couldn't possible have ABS on because on his install there is no ABS.
He went into the pits to check and no ABS ON/OFF button was there. But when we spec him ABS is kicking in under hard braking.
