Don't listen to anything that Douche says. He drives in the nude and never showers + He has a website already up and FM has a site, and RSR has a site. I'm sure between all of us we can set aside a small thread to set up a time. Or we could just put it in here.

How bout 6PM Eastern?

Now someone pick a server.

Why the F%$# would we need a website to get together to race? Just set a start time here and if people show up they show up. Pop onto FM vent and ask if anyone is racing yet.

Easy peasy

I'll come out and play if it is an original combo. No AS3 with anything!!!! Someone suggested LX4's...This was a good idea. Not as much fun as the LX6's but better for the kids that like to go full out and crash everyone.

Maybe SO3 or SO3R in LX4's. I've a good set for there and willing to share.

Need to race in the evening though not the middle of the night!!! I go to bed early because I'm old and have a job. I know Iknow how friggin boring

Quote from Blackout :Actually, you could get better pictures because the silly colours make people laugh and smile. Big black SLRs make people scared. Wouldn't bring one to a funeral though...

If I want laughs, I just wear spandex

Quote from DeadWolfBones :tbh I think that's what they've done with the entry-level market, with the K-x. Cheapest dSLR offering HD video, faster FPS than the D5000, expandable ISO12800, etc etc.

And of course there's this...

And all the color combos in real life:

Hahahahaha I can just imagine what would happen if I showed up to a wedding with one of those

Quote from morpha :Some "5 am, man I'm bored" shots.
ISO100, 1/4000 @ f/4.5-ish (broken lens again, who knows what it actually is)

I'm curious? Why 1/4000????? I'm quite sure your shutter dosen't sinc with your flash at that high of a shutter speed

Love the hair on the berries though!!!

Sorry I have to withdrawl from the series. The races are in the middle of the day over here and I will be at work . Sorry my fault for not seeing it was a Europian league.

Few shots from this falls family walks. Blueberry's are out late this year due to our cold wet summer.
The flower pic was lit from below with off camera flash this morning in the drizzle.

Well I stopped down my lens and took a pic at f22 of a nice clear sky. It is worse than I thought

What do you think enough to effect sharpness?

Quote from mrodgers :Just got an email from Snapfish.com. They want me back and gave me 50 free 4x6 prints, big deal, who cares.

The sent me a survey, "We want you back, tell us how to improve..."

I clicked the "I was unhappy with quality of the prints or photo products I ordered" option then told them their prints are the worst I've ever seen. Absolutely horrible prints.

Ben, just curious do you print and if you do, where do you print (or anyone else here on this thread in the US?) I sent 3 identical photos to MPix, Adorama, and Snapfish when I first got the camera. I was floored by the quality of Adorama. Snapfish looked like my 5 year old daughter could have drawn in crayon better than their prints. I won't bother with anyone else I was so happy with the prints from Adorama. I sent a color of my daughter with a colorful sundress and bright flower, a B&W conversion, and an antique processed of my other daughter to each of the printers.

I need to print more often. I never go through the bother of uploading and ordering. I have several that I want to print out for the walls and I just missed 30 8x10 for $30 prepay prints at Adorama. $1 a piece for 8x10, that's dang cheap and I missed it! Adorama is always sending deals out in email.

I'll probably bother with uploading 50 photos and getting my 50 free crappy prints from Snapfish. I'll upload the not-so-important stuff. I have a ton of birthday and holiday snapshots I need printed and never did.

If your colour balanced try Walmart. I print everything there and the prints look the same as the one I got from Smugmug.
Walmart used to be bad but now they are just as good and alot cheaper than all else.

EDIT: I should clarify!!! I use sRGB colour space. I know I know!! I choose to slum it down in lowly sRGB land for the "Ease of use" reason

Quote from ColeusRattus :Nordschleife with both Niels's physics powered cars sound like fun. Just tried out the Supra and it drives great for being an rFactor mod. Absolutely no "oh, a little overstee.... OH MY GOD I'M SPINNING MADLY", but rather a nice, understeery road car.

Check out Race Sim Radicals server running Supra all week. Courtesy of Boogle. And if you ask him he'll put up Nordschleife! We love that track!!!!!!

Quote from DeadWolfBones :I assume you've tried a good blower? If not, try the Giottos rocket blower. May solve most of your dust problems without having to actually touch the sensor.

If that doesn't work, I recommend either the genuine Pentax cleaning kit (works on all brands of dSLRs! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXLDwbR3V54) or the Copper Hill method (http://www.copperhillimages.co ... p?pr=Copper_Hill_Products).

Thanks for the link. I have read about that before. My main issue is I have absolutely no money right now. So if I FU%$ up my sensor I'm back to my old D70 until further notice The problem with that is it gives error messages every 10 shots or so, and it has over 70 000 actuations already. Way over the limit
Oh well I'm gonna give it a go. You only live once and I can't stand the soft crappy images coming out of my camera anymore.

Quote from DeadWolfBones :More from M42 Week '09: the Vivitar 135mm f/2.8...

Got this lens on a Yashica TL Electro X body at an estate sale for a combined total of $20 (same place I got the Yashinon macro, for another $20). Vivitar primes are pretty hit and miss in general, but this one seems quite nice. My copy has taken a fall at some point, resulting in a dent to the built-in hood and some slight stiffness at the long end of the focus throw, but aside from that it's pristine. Image quality is quite nice

Man that is nice and sharp. I think the dust on my sensor is affecting my image sharpness. It is soft with every lens and even with manual focusing. I am going to take the plunge and by a sensor cleaning kit.
