Here Here!! That was one of the best LFS days of all time for me
Great to drive with such skilled drivers for that many races! Thanks for coming onto our server guys and making a great memory for us I don't think I have ever seen a server full for that many hours in a row before.
Your right they are not on the Inferno site. I'll shoot a few too you when we see each other online.
On second thought here's a link to our site and you can download the sets. http://www.rsradicals.com/webs ... loads.php?do=cat&id=4
As to your last point. These are the people that get (Hopefully) weeded out on this server by the report function. Then all that progress to the Race2 server are clean and curtious drivers. (I know this is not always the case but the vast majority are.)
But where else would you have them learn it?
Demo servers for the most part only teach you to drive looking in your rearveiw to avoid the crasher.
Why not learn to race here? Where the people are supposed to be clean and fair. This should be the perfect place to learn. All that is needed is some helping hands to teach the required skills.
Edit: I know what your saying. And the new people need to have some common sense as well.
I said "some of the best racing". And yes this is the place to learn the "racecraft" so its to be expected that not everyone knows what they are doing. If you fail to expect some mistakes on this server you are the one with the problem
When this discussion came up before and I had a lower license I was on the other side of the argument. I thought that the higher licenses should stay off the Race1 server and let us race people of our own skill level. I was wrong! Racing against higher licensesed drivers improves skill sets. You can learn from them and get great sets.
I still like to race on race1 sometimes. I have a Platinum license but very rarely do I win on Race1. I am just not that fast. I have learned to accept this fact. There is almost always someone faster there.
But I love to share sets and have nice clean races with a new group of racers that I haven't raced before. I find quite often that I need to let a driver know about a rule that they are breaking or something that they are doing that is not cool. Most times they are receptive and take the advice to heart.
Sometimes not and they get reported. Either way they learn and hopefully become a better "competitor" and or driver to race against.
So the argument is equally right both ways. It just depends where your sitting at the moment.
Don't be in such a hurry to get off Race1 it is some of the best racing to be had on LFS.
Well RSR had an eventful race to say the least
After being involved in the start crash we needed to pit so Boogle could repair the car. In the pits we encountered a problem we have never seen in LFS before The game kept repairing and repairing and repairing the car. We finally had to instruct Boogle to disconnect and Jaybee joined up. This lost us a couple of laps After this the rest of the race was spent trying to gain some time back and not interfere with the racers laps up on us.
Very nice to compete in such a well organized event. And if we don't get in this year we now have a few more things on our "Race Preparation List."
I see you like B&W as much as me Your getting tack sharp images!!! NICE My camera needs to go to the shop I think it seems to be loosing its ability to focus accurately anymore
Anyway here are a few for you guys. I really like the one of the fairis wheel and the moon behind it.
And as a sidenote "All recruits need to do a months trial" Gills is still on his for a bit more and then we will see if he's Radical enough for us
So far so good he is weird and slightly bent like the rest of us
Ken make sure to read this post I'm sure it applies to you. This I know from past experience. I thought you said you wouldn't be doing this under caution anymore?
