One thing that makes the FOX more fun to drive is "Gills Sound Pack!"
I think it was after patch Z it was really muzzeled in the sound department. The Gills sound just makes it grunt a bit more

EDIT: Also the FM fun server was set to the FOX the night before last so it might be still on it.

I have a new suggestion for you.
Try to stop breathing completely for 3 hours. If this doesn't work try again for 6 hours.
If you are still breathing through only one nostril take yourself to India where there are no computers or internet forums and learn from a Swami!

My old D70 was actually better at 1600.

EDIT: Also for your outside shots with lots of snow you need to add some exposure compensation. The button beside youe shutter button with "+/-" Hold this down and turn your thumb wheel or the wheel under your shutter button. This will add or subtract exposiure compensation. ie: + brighten , - darken
