If you are nice and clean as you say, you should try Dead men racing on Sundays. They race Race_s sets only and do team racing. They are clean and fun .
They also have good strict rules against dicks and kick them quickly
Try this experiment....... Use "Race_S" set, if you get within a couple of seconds of the WR switch to the WR set.
As we have seen in team racing on the DMR server the past few weekends. Everyone uses the Race_S set and most people are around the same times. But there is always someone (Alien) who can make that crappy feeling set go a few seconds a lap faster than everyone else.
So I think it isn't the set that makes me slow, it is my abilities or lack there of.
I don't know for sure...all I know is my wheel only turns 180 from lock to lock. By lowering the degrees, I have felt the steering be more precis, I don't know why it just is for me.
Maybe someone with more knowledge can tell me if I'm full of shit or not.
On a steering note. For those of you not fortunate enough to have a G25......(This includes me) What I have found the last little while is, if you reduce the steering % down from 30 degrees to lets say 20 degrees you get way more precis steering. My wheel is a Logitech formula force GP.
I have found the same thing with people. Some photographers come off the wrong way because we can sense the pervishness.
I think 99% of the time we are right in our assumption too!
I find the best way to make people comfortable with me taking pics is to make it abundantly clear that I am taking pictures of everyone, not just the good looking ones:-) I also make myself very visable ie: instead of taking a pic from way back with a zoom, I'll move closer so I don't look like a stalker.
Then when I need to shot some candids no one is aware because they are starting to ignore the geek with the camera
And yes I have admitted to myself that being a photographer just dosen't look cool to most people I don't think my wife is impressed with my big lens anymore
In Canada the law is almost the same. The Photographer owns the image outright until some one pays him or her directly for it.
Commercial use is the same though.
On a side note, about your signiture? You stole our national sport Whats next our oil?
A few of us at Halfords have gone cruising when we were bored before. We had a blast being chased by the cops
And the cops were tickled pink when three of them caught me
You should have heared them( "We caught a Halfords guyWOOT WOOT") I think it made their day.
We thought the idea behind having cops was to put them too work?
If everyone followed the rules you wouldn;t need cops! Right?
