I think most of us are just taking a short break while waiting for the patch. lol, and some people are still hotlapping like crazy, which is kind of a waste of time at this point.
I'm gonna take a guess and say that the stuff we're really interested in, or don't already know about, will be released latest. So we still have alot to look forward to.
OMG these new tire physics rox0rz!!!!!!!!!11111 The handling is so realistic just like NSFU where you can take the turns at full speed, now all we need is the nawzz and the BODY KITS!!!!!!!!exclamationpoint!!11thirtyfive
for that mx2 i was only able to use the 40.71 drivers I think, otherwise the game or my pc would do strange things. Youre not going to be able to run a much better graphics card on that same motherboard... its probably agp 2.0 so you wouldnt be able to use anything new.
Ive been playing lfs with the geforce mx2 card now since I began playing like a year and a half ago, and I got this pc in 2000. Somehow I've loved this game enough to keep playing it with a really shitty system too.. And I'm almost done putting together a much better system right now which Ill be able to play online with driveable fps now!
Generally the rule for rolling starts is that you need to stay behind the car in front, and stay in position until you cross the start finish line. It's been done in lfs leagues before, where the cars go around for a slow lap, then bunch together a few turns before the straight and get up to speed on the straight.
I really like how the rolling starts are in nascar racing 2003. Even with 30 drivers online it works out well. When everyone enters the track the game starts you a few turns before the start/finish, and it gives you like a minute to join in. Theres a pace car which pulls you off in the final turn, and it black flags you if you are ahead of the person infront before the line. I wish something that was in lfs.
Yeah.. that definately wouldn't work. I think he meant everyone would do 1 lap following each other to prepare for the rolling start though.
the most underrated drift car... definately the uf1 (with the top down of course) Nothing like jerking that handbrake into the turns and laying down some serious black marks.
Im pretty sure they stopped making the rev.A (plastic pots) pedals a long time ago, so it would be very rare finding a DFP with the original pedals. As long as you buy it from a common store, you can pretty much be sure you have the updated pedals. Plus it will say rev.B on a plastic wrapper in the box.
but wait, he was really visiting an internet cafe to take pics of his new awesome drifting skin, or no.. it was his cousins dads s3 licensed son who sent him the pictures to post on the forums. See he really isnt THAT stupid, he wouldn't use a cracked version of lfs and post pics of himself driving on an s2 track. illepall
I've tried that and it's cool, but I just end up using the live alert on lfsw to see who is online. Also, in the in-game server list you can click the question mark to see who's in in the server anyway.
Seriously, why isn't the server private with the admin password given to those who join the club. That's how it was back before s2 came out, which worked fine. You could generally always be sure that the races would be clean, and no idiots would join in the middle of the race. Of course the pw might be leaked to some wreckers, then it would need to be changed every once in a while. Wouldn't this encourage people more people to join your club also..
