May i throw my hat in and suggest for Live Events using a service such as uStream. It seems to work quite well and the quality might not be the best but it allows ustream to take some of that giant bandwidth hit and im pretty sure you can also record shows.

my advice practise offline then find a nice quiet server, invite some friends and just stuff around a bit first. the go over to a server like one of the ctra ones for some real racing.
