i sill pop in now and then and have the very occasional pop online, i still enjoy it but ot as good as the old days, i just dont have the time and its sad to see the decline in online users since the time i was active(back in those days of the stcc/ctra). but you never know things may pick back up and i may have more time, i live in hope and have had too many good times to give up on lfs completly

lol i think the simpler the better, the ufbr is all about simple close high grip low power racing and it would be just about the only thing to get me interested in online lfsing in any major way again atm tbh

yh sounds like motion sickness very possibly, and the onset could be things including vison troubles and bery possible the onset of ear problems or something. a change to your sences of speed, movement and balance etc could confuse your brain making you fell nauseas, as for it being orse as a passenger thats not uncommen as your not in control so its another thing to confuse your brain, i have a freind who karts and is shall we say an enthusiastic driver and never has a problem but if he sits in th back of a car he throws up in no time and still feels a bit didgy as a passenger.

thats my take on things anyway lol not that i have any real experiance of that sort of thing just my opinion on possibilities

im looking for some help on finding what has knackered my laptop, ive got a dell d420, i just started it up and joined my girlfreinds newly installed bt wireless network a while after i did (not sure how long as i wasnt looking at the time) it blue screens, i think nothing more of it as my lappie sometimes does it then works fine so i turn it off and start it back up when i do as it tries to start up the black screen with the cursor in the top left comes up but has 3 colored squares on it and in one of them is 2 smiley faces that flash, so i restart the computer again only to find it wont turn on, the power and scroll lock, caps lock and num lock lights turn on, stay on for a few seconds then go out there is no hdd activity or and bios screen etc. my virus software etc is all up to date. all i can think of is that the virus has wiped my cmos chip hence it not turning on.

na its a corsa b sport bout the quickest thing i can afford to insure

less that a week after i passed my test i got hit up the backside in the local kfc drive through by some 26 year old in a Peugeot 206, luckily i had the handbrake off and as just about to pull away or it would have completely ****ed the rear of my car, as it is its technically a write off but ive got mates who do bodywork so can get it sorta fixed cos luckily the boot floor isn't bent. but the boot only closes to the first latch the tailgate itself is bent and the rear light is misaligned. and the women who hit me wondered why i wasnt a happy bunny when i got out the car


the damage:

ive been in a couple of vx220s at work and i find the best way to do it is put one leg out then feed your backside into the seat then the other leg but that is harder on the drivers side but can be done

ive followed a car with an lfs reg before, as passenger and tried to take a pic but failed

ive decided to cancel the event, all those involved have been pm'ed

were down to 4 people now so its up to you guys, i can probably find some people to boost the numbers but no promises, if yove payed the deposit and would like to pull out pm me and we can sort it out if you want to still do it then il see what i can do

confirmed a chance in event format( change op), now will be running one driver per kart with 2 races. proce stays the same but get a little more track time, i can maybe get a few more people from outside lfs to join us if everyones ok with that to make things more intersting

m not blaming you or anything thats not what im trying to say, far from it. it was originally gonna be arrive and drive sort of session for me and gills but being maybe a bit ambitious i decided to try and make an event out of it especially after the results of the poll. but i know that if it was someone else organising it and it looked like alot of people but turned out to be like 4 blokes i would be a bit lacking in enthusiasm. all i was saying in my last post was really how lucky you are in getting what you have at what price and just saying i wish i could do the same for the people down this way. it may still go ahead but im not as hopeful as i was. soz to make you feel i was trying to put some of it on you

on a more positive not there seems to be a good gathering here and if i am driving by then (should be) and can afford it ill come over to wales for this one

its a shame i cant get bayford to do a similar thing to you guys but alas im not that lucky and i havent got a big enough house to put everyone up in. if not enough people are interested ill probably end up cancelling it depending on what the currect confirmations say and just offer to give the guys down here a lift to this event

karting always comes first lol

i knew this would happen a little bit when the main one started taking sign ups, i dont mind, i just want this event to be worth while for those tht have already said their coming so dig deep people 2 karting events are better than one

might be able to come if money goes alright, ill be able to tell more in a 2/3 months when ive got my driving test out of the way

yh should be a laugh, doing it at bayford aswell means things awill be a bit mre relaxed, its not the worlds best track but its fun to drive and there not to anal about stuff like buckmore for example were they sit there showing you a presentation on safety and talk for like 30 min before you go out

One thing you have to remember is gearing + the sheer weight of a hire kart. One of our sodi karts is like 150kgs on its own... then you have a honda cadet which is basically the equivalent in racing terms and it weights 103kg with driver!!

brt900, I'd personally look around. I would have thought for not much more money you could probably pick up a older racing pro-kart (i.e two honda gx engines) which will be quicker and just as reliable. Any 8 year old in his cadet is gonna fly by ya if your driving an ex-rental kart.

i think some restrict them and some gear them alot higher both basicly meaning the engines work less hard and perform similar to a gx, some places dont but the majority do i think
