Quote from danthebangerboy :being sat at the end of the straight against the armco at mildenhall stadium with a broken driveshaft, therefore being a sitting target was a little scary, but then again, i was in a banger so it was kinda to be expected really.

Luckily the car that got me was fairly well damaged anyway, so wasnt going that fast, i still felt it though!

This was the end result.

i thought banger rules specified that if your out you cant get hit?

Quote from freddyalek90 :Yeah, that could be because we drive on different sides of the road

lol dunno but its good fun when someone who has an imported bike jumps on my chopper and goes to slide the back end, after having built up alot of speed goes to grab what he thinks is the rear brake but is infact the front and promptly disapears over the handlebars, the bike going with him

tbh ive never had any luck connecting a tv to the pc using the s-video connection and the supplied s-video to composite adapter. ive tryed it with many cards and only ever got it in b&w

the only thing ive never tried is to use an actual s-video lead

Quote :As simple as the idea is, the arrow for exiting pits really is a great little feature. Even experienced LFSer's can join a server and suddenly question themselves over whether the track was standard or reveresed, only to then look like a fool and turn out of garage the wrong way (yes we have all done it at some point :P). So a welcome improvement indeed.

yh totally agree, im pretty good at doing that as the ufbr guys know lol.

ive had a little run of z13 and have found nothing wrong so far, will keep testing

well done scawen, no matter what people say about time since last update, youve had alot of things on your plate and youve done well

pots(potentiometer) are as you say a veriable resister na dim alot of aplications dont use the 3rd wire. as for volume controls, it depends, some use pots some rheostats, but to my knowledge its more likely a pot. i cant go any deeper than that, ill let sme a bit cleverer than me take it further lol

lol

i have seen basicly everything on that list happen but tbh if you use your brain slightly it should always be cheaper and even easier to do it yourself. take our land rover discovery for example, you can buy a tray of 6 oil filters for something like £15 bearing in mond rover v8 oil filters are huge, you buy a 20-25 litre drum of oil (6.7litres of oil in a 3.9) and you dont even need to jack it up to drain the oil. i once raced a mate of my dads saying that i could do an oil change on the disco in less time than it too him to fignt through the trafic to get to the local ford dealer to have his feista serviced, i won
