i see what your saying about snow but if you have a 4wd/rwd in snowy conditions uyou would use 4wd anyway .
and lol atn the bit about sensing slip, yh shouldnt be slipping in the first place, you need the traction control but in conjuction with a normal 4wd system. the landrover discovery 2 can be a very formidable offroad tool because on some of them they have traction control and centre difflock on a normal 4wd system
as sam said its the rear wheels, i dont know of and 4x4s that put power to the front wheels in 2wd mode.
as for 4wd being bad if on the road that only apies if there is no centre differential, land rovers for example have a centre diff and permanant 4wd. as for running in 4wd low, low ration settings on transfer boxes are usualy very low, i know they are on the land rovers and are not usable for everday driving
gm have/had the BL syndrome, too big, there are too big to survive this sort of thing. ford were smart when the got rid of jaguar land rover because they knew they were too big to support themselves as the recession set it. im just happy opel/vauxhall are gonna be ok, vauxhall have been doing ok compared to other car makes in britian, and anyway i need a job lol
nice chris, ever though about having it featured in total vauxhall, im sure thede love to feature it. at pompreys(the vauxhall dealer i work at) we have a guy with a limited edition one(cant rememeber the name lol but its yellow with black wheels) hes almost part of the furneture now as he keeps crashing it, his latest one was the lower suspension arm balljoint which seperated from the tie rod at about 85 mph lol probably caued by the stress he has put on it crashing it before. his attitude to totaling it is' ill just buy another one' lol. oh and hes a french bloke and the rear windowhas a big sticker saying crazy frog, how correct that seems to be.
edit: just realised what wheels they are, team dynamics pro race (1.2s ?) my farorite wheel, if only i could aford a set for my corsa.
strobe the, but canon is better bit was about the salesmen not about the cameras, that statement was how the canon salesment at least have a working battery in the camera but the are crafty. i admit i am a fan of canon but im not a canon fanboy!!!
and as for the only good sony bit, the cameras may be good fine and reiable but i know from personal experiance and the experiances of people i know that sony are not the most relaiable brand alot of the time
this is why you shouldnt by sony stuff really lol bacause even their salesmen are idiots
the only good thing sony make is the playstation.
although canon are better they are very crafty, at the mph show there was a canon stand and having herd about dslrs from the likes of samh lol i draggged my dad there to prove to him how good dslrs are. the rep showed us the camera and some of it feature but before taking too many pics desided to change the lens to severl thousand pounds worth of l series is usm lens knowing that the kit lens isnt great. but still it convinced my dad especially as his entax point and shot couldnt take one not blurry picture in the halls at the nec and the 400d had no trouble
tbh it depends what you are after, if you dont mind a limited new lens range (im sure mrodgers is correct about the sony/minolta bit though and alot of other minor manafacturers have older lens compatability wereas the larer makes tent to need adapters etc) then an 'other' make dslr is fine. wheather it be sony, olympus, pentax etc but if your are after a wide range of lenses it best to go for somehting like a canon or nikon, both makes are good, some swear by nikon some swear by canon and tbh there is not much in it.
as far as reviews go give dpreview.com a look, in my opinion there are the best review site about. on the canon front have a look at the 450d or the 1000d, the 450d especially is bound to reduce on price soon as the 500d is soon to be released although they are in hugley different price brackets
i think your find you can, dont quote me on this but i am sure the eula stats that you can run multple copies on multiple computers if usig it for a lan game
have a look at the lfs manual i think there is something on there
ah ok, the v8 is best anyway you just have to watch for slipped liners on. the rover v8 may not be that powerful really and quite small by american standards but its a great engine
