People are very quick to dismiss such things but then never put up any (let alone viable) alternatives in my experience.

the thing is what really is 50 hours gonna do to people. not much especcially the ones that need it, and its a typical goverment scheme. ok i was a bit quick of the mark with that comment, although i still feel that the level of true democracy is declining heavily in this country

well i use opera and dont know of a spell checking utility, but my argument was not about using spell checking it was about spelling itself and that combined with bad typing due to having a bad hand eye coirdination

well ok he isnt calling it volantary, you got me there, but as you say your self they are basicly handing out a punishment for not doing anything and thats how it would seem calling it compulsary comunity service, it would have been a much better idea to have called it something like compulsary work in the comunity or something like that. i wou;ld have thought that would have been obvious being a polotition, cos there used to dressing simething up under a differant name

edit: lol 5haz, he does seem to like doing that, but then again maybe hes looking for the fact that the people who do actually vote are going to think its a good idea

its not the hours or anything that is really being moaned anbout, yh its better than doing national service for sure, although in some ways its debatable, but its the dictator nature of calling 50 hours of mandatory work volentry, it shows just how stupid our pm is. also on the subject of national service, that would do more good for the country than 50 hours community service. and if its help with charities that is really needed why dont they consider being a bit more strict with community service orders and dish out a bit more of it than they do now

edit: at doughie yh ok its not huge spread like that but they will do one of 2 things either add that 1 hour a day for 10 weeks to the school day or will make you do it in one stint, 10 hours a day for a working week.

but i think the point here is not the time its more the principle of it

i dont care, i would rather have a system that allows you to play online and has a few feature but is free than some fancy system that you have to bloody subscribe too

agree with magot, ps3 online doesnt suck on the pure basis you dont have to pay a stupid subscription to use it

with the warrenty it depends on the company, some do it from when you bought the original some from when you got the replacement but being microsoft i suspect it probably is from when you bought the first one.

all these probablem the xbox has is the reason i bought a ps3 lol

as for the xbox live, have a moan to microsoft especcially if it is still in warranty and you maybe be lucky and get a free subscription for a while

couldnt resist posting this one i just found

they are trying to use all these cameras and stuff to try and replace the traffic cop and it doesnt work, a traffic cop has descresion and has the ability to deal with a wide range of matters, but these camera do not, they are dumb devices recording things things that will be view by more dumb devices( the people sitting there looking at it all) with no knowledge of the context in which the event they are looking at happened

in my opinion several gauges give much more information that an lcd display, lcd displays are good if room is tight like in a single seater but for most other situations a set of gauges will be easier to go to and find out much more detail

lol definatly wont be doing that, it has a sub and amp in atm that i put in on saturday as i said but it will not have much longer, this car is being left alone mostly, may do a few things like better front discs and a rear disc conversion, shortshift kit, but mostly it will be kept standard and tidied up. the only time i would every strip stuff out a car is to make it lighter.

well not nessaserily, it is very closly related to the 'red top' and fyi 'fed top' is not just a general term it is quite a specific term

lol jack, as you can see its pretty original and thats the way its staying cos thats why i bought it, you dont see many standard sports about but this is gonna be one of them. i spent the rest of the day trying to fit a sub and amp to it cos my sister wanted it in as she was goign to be driving it to work for a while( to keep it in regular use as i aint got my license yet, about 7 month to go before im 17 lol) but now decided she isnt so the day was a waste as i dont want anything too major sound system wise

As much as I like Mclaren because of the brilliant things they have achieved over the years, lately they're just annoying by being silly.

Wether the FIA gives other teams the same amount of wrist slapping for the same offences remains to be seen.

i must admit i do agree here, mclaren and lewis are very good at shooting themselfves in the foot, either by breaking the rules knowing the fia will come down hard on them especcially or sailing close to the wind knowing the fia will find some way of getting at them.

they really should have learnt by now lol
