its not a case that i dont want a patch i could just see, using not many braincells, that the servers dont need taking down to integrate a new patch therefore showing it is genuine server maintanience

i want to see brawn gp do well, the best would be to see them absolutly walk all over ferrari

well tbh updating lfs manual could be done without taking it down at all and the other 2 wouldnt take that long, they never have when updating for other patches even with new cars (fbm) so i say its just inoccent server maintanence

yh im gonna fire logitech off an email now if they will sell me a replacement unit im suspecting it to be quite expencive lol

looks like they only send to the us not the uk grrr

my shifter has finally had it so im looking to either replace the shifter or the whole package so if anyone has got either for sale or knows where it is best to buy one ide be very thankful

also did they update the shifter design in the newer ones(rev b?)

ide love to see mclaren and brawn at the front, mainly cos i want brawn gp to smash ferrari this year lol

usb power cable? you should have a seperate dc power supply with that connects to the wheel via a bullet connector

edit: and the other light only comes on when you go from h gate to sequential shifter mode

lol 15mpg aint that bad when doing all that, weve got a 3.9v8 discovery 1 and when my dad was using that for work(on site it support for the nhs) he was getting 15mpg(the highest we got it was 19 on the london to brighton run) if he was lucky but luckily the milage payment covered it, hes now using an audi a6 avant 1.8 that does 30 odd

edit: oh and dougie towing things isnt just about power etc the vehicle you are using has to weigh enough and if you get trailer snaking on you the heavier the tow vehicle the less you are to crash, the basic laws of phisics dictate that

lol yh maybe, the bmw diesel they put in the p38 (second gen) range rover was a total fail but its not too bad when its a v8

i do see your point, some people like them as tow cars some dont and the td5 engine is one that not everyone likes but others love. for me the best towing land rovers have to be v8's weather it be a defender, discovery or range rover

i see where your coming form here and you right the only hope is that the teams realise they need to make the cars work within a reasonable distance of other cars for them to win races and therefore the championship

i want a bigger focal lenth lens for 2 reasons, the first is im going to cyprus in a couple of weeks and want another lens for shooting stuff as im gonna be staying in the hills and secondly because i want it for when i am at brands hatch for the british truck racing next weekend. i know its not a great lens but im on a budget atm.

oh and its going onto a 450d

had the same problem and as spacedskunk says its the power supply, mke sure it is firmly pushed in under the wheel, i can almost guarantee it wont be(it sometimes needs a good push to get it in)

well tbh comparing a2.5litre diesel to a 5.9litre v8 is a bit stupid, of coirse the v8 is gonna have more power but it isnt just power thats makes a good tow car. as for the td5 a little tweeking can make it an extremly capable tow car

i have mixed feelings about this, on one hand it seems a little stupid but on the other i think it could be great to watch because there will no longer be the case where drivers dont have to win or thinking of the championship as it is often called, this will therefore mean more overtaking and im sure there will be some great battles, ill probably make my decision as to weather it was a good idea or not after the first few races
