There are only two relatively tight corners there on Westhill that make a contrast to the general high speed driving providing good chances to overtake. If Westhill is slowed down any more it will eventually become a second Aston.
You don't have to release it because almost everybody will be able to do an even cleaner version of this with paint in say five minutes.

Umm.. for me they did.
That's the reason I bought it for.
Getting rid of the rust will cost me quite some bucks but rust is only a cosmetical problem on this car (though the right hand side looks a bit worse).Hahaaa, I guess that's not only the gearbox' fault.
It's weird how people can't wait until the new tyre physics are released. I mean I would like to see them but as I have no real racing experience (going 200km/h through a city for instance) I can't really imagine how much the feeling of the cars is going to change. It may be interesting too but it will definatly be irritating and frustrating the first few days/weeks to learn driving again.
So until the patch arrives I'm just happy to know how to drive and improve LX6 or FO8.

I for one can not recommend using a wheel. I have not tried the latest patch since I lent the game since many weeks ago. What I experienced was a huge dead zone in the middle since analoge steering is designed for paddle sticks. Also the amount of turning your G25 does not affect the angle the wheels will turn in the same way for every amount of speed - just like steering with paddle sticks or keyboard. The same applies to accelerating and braking.
For playing the game steering with the keyboard works very good for me, I have very little experience with the Xbox version of the game. Though there were times I just wished I could cruise through the city instead of either parking or racing.
My patience grows by every day.
In the LFS main directory a file can be found named "cfg.txt". Near the end of the file you'll find a line where "car shine" and a number behind it that can be changed from 0.00 up to 1.00. This however effects everything that's shiny on a car most notably including windows.
I never complained about the reactions on Lynce's picture. And speaking of skiper's picture... well is it really that - skiper's? Does editing one pixel on a screenshot make it your own if you show it to people like that? Where's the border between "my own picture" and "my edited version of another ones picture"?
I don't like to be rated by a bunch of 14 year old racing gamers, that's why I usually don't take part.
If you would have had the time to read the whole argument and not just jumped in to tell me a lesson you would have noticed that in my opinion personal taste should not matter when rating competition entries.
Of course that would be absolute nonesense. I was just having a go at people that think Lynce got some opponent with you.

I never said it was the only neccessary thing but the amount of effort is an important part of my criteria.
One point for looking good, no point for looking neat and a half point for fitting the theme well equals 50%. Imagine you're in school, should somebody be cheered on seriously for getting ~50% in a test?
I already pointed out that in my opinion taste should not be a valid criterium to rate anything in any kind of competition.

I honestly don't understand anything of that. I am criticising you picture because it looks boring and a bit cheap to me. I have the feeling you have not put much effort both thinking and working on that picture.
For me that has not so much to do with the rules discussion.
I listed examples of things you could have changed. If you did some things like that the rules discussion would still be focused on you but I would not criticise you for entering a lame edit.
Maybe he's currently visiting Switzerland and doesn't know what engine braking means.

I don't like using more external image than LFS but that is not the point. You could have positioned the FZR so it doesn't look out of perspective (see front wheel and spoiler), you could have added other wheels that look a little more like GT Racing, you could have changed colours of the car, the sky, the curbs whatever, you didn't even think of just letting the FZR drive the other way but no: It's just the same image like before only with the FZR, FZ5 added and a little less colour saturation.
The main focus on skipers pic is on the white FZR.
I find it sad how short minded people are... as if Lynce's and skiper's entries were equal somehow.

Fact is that it's always high quality and that he's putting very much effort into his work. Thus if anything he does with LFS would be a competition he should win many of them in my opinion because I don't like half his work but taste is not fair.
It almost hurts me when for a screenshot editing competition a five minute copy&paste job is being favorised and cheered on. It's neither neat nor inventive. On top of it the focus is not on the FZ50.
