I agree with you and others' statements concerning the fact that there are too many people on the roads that can't drive. I've been around cars all my life and have been driving tractors, go karts and other machines since i was 4 years old. Because of this, i was already an experienced driver, i didn't need lessons to teach me how to parallel park or make a 3- point turn . I don't know how it works in Europe, but in America, when you turn 16 you get a permit and this allows you to drive with a licensed, over 18 year old in the car with you. I spent many many hours driving with parents or family members in order to get accustomed to traffic driving. Thats why i didn't need lessons
the test is the same for everyone in new york at least. all my friends took courses, lessons etc. i just took the test, passed first try, no deductions. Not that difficult. We all took it in the same location with the same company, two of my friends failed their first time and thats WITH courses and lessons. The test isn't made to be difficult and its not a driving test at all. Its aim is to make sure that you're safe on the roads and do the right things. its a safety test, not a driving test.
what a dumb statement. When you are travelling at 70 mph and get flipped into the air after you rub tires with someone else, you will probably reconsider putting a safety belt in your kart.
i'm not sure if this is what you mean but...i have noticed that while racing in different cars, the field of view changes slightly. THe actualy FOV degree stays the same (90), but for example, if i hop into the gtr cars, it seems that i am farther back in the seat that in the xrt, fxo, lx6, fox or any other car. This only seems to happen in the GTR cars. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? It is actually more difficult for me to drive the GTR cars like this so instead, i use the wheel view.
if the limit really is only 240 seconds, then there is no need for this improvement because 4 mins is not too long to wait. On the other hand, if there is no limit, this is an excellent suggestiong
no, in my last post i explained that time is factor that archilles is forgetting. But you are right, the substance will never be gone, it will be infinitely small.
you are exactly right. Although you have implied it, i think what you are trying to say is, time. That is what the achilles or w/e didn't factor in. If there was no time, then yes, his theories would be correct. Same goes for the arrow that does not move. Of course it movies because there are new moments. Like he said, if you took a picture of the arrow, you freeze that MOMENT and therefore the arrow is standing still.
So in conclusion, all of the presented theories are true if time is negligible.
