A bit odd that the UK, which consists of 4 countries, are competing as 1 nation in the Olympics. If Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark competed as Scandinavia, it would almost be the same, but we don't
This just crossed my mind while watching the curling match now between GBR and Norway, and hearing the Scottish accent.
Good stuff. And quite expensive stuff too, especially that motherboard.
Just remember to get a really good CPU cooler. That 130W CPU will make some massive heat.
As long as there's no copy protection it should work. But if it has copy protection then it's more complicated yes. Then you most likely would need a no-cd crack.
Looks good, but the i7 860 is a socket 1156 cpu and thus can't be used on the motherboard you listed, which is a socket 1366. I would suggest an Asus P55 board instead.
To avoid swapping between the HDD and DVD, make an iso image of the CD and use something like Daemon Tools Lite to mount it. For the taskbar, maybe it's just minimized at the bottom? Try to hover the mouse around that area and see if it changes to a resize pointer, so you can enlarge it.
It's been like 20 years since last time I had an Intel CPU in one of my PC's, and not an AMD. But this time I chose Intel when I built my new rig. Also first time *ever* I've chosen ATI over Nvidia. These choices I made simply because I think those 2 manufacturers have the best technology atm.
Biathlon is awesome. The reason they use guns, is that the sport originates from the military. It was used as an exercise for the Norwegian soldiers, and in the first winter olympics it was called military patrol.
I have it as an intake. I have one intake fan in the front too, so the fan at the top acts like an exhaust. The top one is a 120mm fan, but I'm probably gonna swap it for a 140mm later. All fans set to lowest speed, and the CPU is between 25-30C degrees at idle. Ambient room temp around 20C I think. The graphics card is also quite cool, around 30C when idle.
This Olympics is looking to be such a huge fail for the Norwegians. Canada - Norway in hockey coming up soon. I predict another huge fail from us.
The only fun so far has been watching Pål "Flash" Gordon, the interviewing king of mixed-zone. Norwegians here, go to the following link to read some funny stuff. I'm literally laughing my ass off after reading that.
If I didn't had to manually press play every 30 seconds, I could put up with it. As I understand a lot of other people have that problem too. Automatic bitrate adjustment is nice though.
Ye, that's where I'm watching BBC.
Funny is, watching NRK there isn't available for my country lol. Apparently if you're in Norway and wants to watch NRK, you have to do it from here: http://www.nrkol.no/
And that's where the woeful Silverlight thing is.
Aweful internet TV solution by NRK, silverlight wtf! Keeps playing for 10 seconds, then stops, over and over again. :banghead: Have to watch the BBC coverage to get a steady stream.
Just like to mention that nfinity eSports own Wyatt Gooden has made it through all the elimination processes, and been selected to take part in the real 2010 VW Jetta TDI Cup Series, competing against 24 other drivers. Awesome job Wyatt!
Just bought a HTC Tattoo and loves it. Been wanting an Android phone for a while, but all the other phones like the Hero was a bit pricey for my taste. The Tattoo is quite affordable, and is well worth the money. Ok, it doesn't have as good a screen as the Hero, but I don't care.
