With a layout that has finish line two meters after the startline? (mr. obvious out)
Still I wouldn't be really proud of what he's done here - hiding his stats just proves it.
Where do I get to see Raikkonen gaining 5 positions in last 3 laps? I want some onboard of it. The camera directors were completely useless today. They missed almost every action even though there wasn't that much happening.
Great work...loved it...one can see the 3.5-weeks efford you put into it...but totally worth it.
Is he racing in LFS only since 2010? damn...I've been playing lfs at least two times longer and I wouldn't get to his level in million years I must be doing something wrong
quite a nice video...still a lot to prove and I basically agree with seniecka but considering you are no professional in movie-making, it is pretty solid piece of work
I had a time when I wasn't improving a lot for quite a long time and couldn't find what I was doing wrong. Then I found out that the most time I was losing was during braking. You have to brake as late as possible but still being able to hit the apex...for example I was doing the mistake of not downshifting fast enough by breaking - this helps really a lot. Since then I got considerably faster but there is still practice to do for me - I probably don't have that much talent but I have fun and try to improve fine details. I don't have a smallest chance to get close to top drivers but also without talent but with enough hard work you can get more than above average driving level.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKDSusS4Pls dont you know the name of the song that is playing in the background? I wanned to make a video to it but first of all downloading it from youtube means very bad quality and second of all there are some additional noises
thx in advance
Very very nice...just one thing I generally dont like in lfs videos are unrealistic crashes...it somehow spoils the realism of the video/game...because if there is a formula spinning 10times in 2 seconds around its axle and there are no parts of it falling off it doesnt look that real...I am saying this also because the video seems to be some kind of propaganda of lfs for people who dont know it yet.
However despite a small piece of criticism I would give you 5*/5*
I ve only seen one of the videos and I enjoyed it very much...it is just a pity that the second half of the race is always a bit spoiled by slower cars
I think it is much closer to porsche than to ferrari but as long as it doesnt have exact chassis, engine, gearbox, weight it is pointless to talk about it as it was the same car...
I personally dont give a damn about the looks of the car... lfs isnt about driving a ferrari, porsche or lambo...it is about the realness...
looks perfect on those rims...and the one I envy you in comparison to mine are those rear lights...these are even better than those on mine...
exhaust tips are standart - like the whole car - nothing customized...if I remember well
I've got same beauty at home (not so clean) and as you are saying...I am so looking forward to putting back summer tires...on these winter ones it just doesn't feel right
I had a bit similar experience but imho a bit worse...it was these few months quite a long time ago when I sometimes suddenly woke up in the middle of the night..lying on my back...couldn't control my body but my head was moving from left to right real quickly and I could hear this unbearable squeezing sound in my ears...it felt like being possessed by devil and I totally hated it...fortunately it went away and has never appeared since
So you are in Sony vegas...Your video is finished so you click File->render as and choose format *.avi and "customize" the format...in the "video" tab you want to choose:
"video format" -> "uncompressed"
"frame size" -> "(use project settings)"
"pixel aspect" -> "1.0000"
in audio tab be sure that you have chosen "include audio"
then you render the whole video...few-gigabyte file will be created...open this file in virtual dub...choose Video -> compression...there you choose Xvid MPEG-4 codec and click OK...that's it...now you just need to go to file->save as avi and a compressed render of your video will be created
