from the first second when I heard the music I remembered RC TEAM video which was imho one of the best lfs vids I ve ever seen...so that was a bit wrong song choice because unfortunately you cant compete with that one...
it wasnt that bad but there were many things I didnt like: at the beginning the glow around cars...that looked pretty bad I think, crashes caused by lags and other unreal crashes and a bit more special effects would be fine...
maybe I am a bit harsh here but 2,5*/5* from me
I am looking for this sound for hours now but I cant find out how to name it properly so that I can put the keyword in google and have it...this is pretty much what I need but it has this background sound which I dont need
It is that sound effect when for example in call of duty the letters of words are changing really quickly and the words are successively built...
nice to see some movie from you after a long time... I liked it quite a lot...and I just admire you can play with color changes so much...there are like 2 color changes every second
nice one...I like it despite that for me annoying music but everybody has different tastes...video matches the rythm of the song which is very good...and you did some good effects too...good job
Well that´s a pity but there´s nothing I can do about it...I will have to do it manually as I have already tried...
two layers of video track...upper layer is masked according to shape of car and sharpened...lower layer is blurred but constantly along whole image which doesnt look the best but at least partially fakes the effect...if this is done properly then it looks a bit better than without DoF but if lfs could do it by itself that would be the best option...
you can start working on it while scawen works on tyre physics and race which one of you will be the first one to finish their work (just kidding)
of course it is more difficult but if you consider only the fact that a sharp object is in certain distance and everything else is blurred, you get quite good effect despite the fact it is only similar to real behaviour but this is main characteristic which could be enough
I wasnt trying to be a cock...I just tried to say that sony vegas is useless for this kind of stuff...dont think that I havent checked youtube for tutorials
I was just making a suggestion...I dont completely understand the process of making DoF effect in computer graphics but from my point of view it is very simple set of rules you have to follow to get the effect...it is basicaly just about distances of objects from camera... I know it wont be the easiest thing to make but cant be impossible either
I imagine the effect to work like this: If I am recording a shot with a car...I want the car to be sharp and everything else that is behind the car and in front of the car (from the point of view of camera) should be blurred a bit...
like here
I think you get my point...only your main point of interest and near surrounding are sharp...
and if you want me to explain how I imagine it to work...there could be two modes...one "authomatic"...you tell the software which car you want to focus on and how deep you can go and still see it sharp and from what point it should start to be blurred...
and the other mode could be manual controlling of distance from camera which you want to see sharpened...
that is just brief description of my idea...I hope it is understandable...if not I will try to use other words
thank you...that is exactly what I was looking for
Oh come on, you cant get realistic fog/fire/steam in sony vegas...it just looks awful...the only special effect that looks good is rain...
Sony vegas is really just for working with videos (editing) not making them from scratch...adobe after effects is better in this aspect but there are so many functions in it and I am not familiar with it so far...
I dont know if someone has already mentioned this but would it be somehow possible to make DoF (depth of field) effect with this software? does it recognize how far objects are in scenery?
Imho it would be a big improvement because DoF effect adds a huge amount of realism into videos
Session of Incident: race
Lap of incident: 10
Timecode of incident: T1 of lap 10 (mpr time 28:00.00)
Your car Number: 25
Other Car(s) Involved: 19
Brief description of incident:
Our car (25) was driving side by side with car 19 into T1 and car 19 steered into our car following normal racing line like our car wasnt even there...bumped us to tires and from there the car was out of control and crashed into wall which caused us major damage and loss of much time
isnt there a site where I can download short movies of let´s say fog, fire steam etc.? I was googling but obviously cant find the right keywords to define this kind of stuff http://www.detonationfilms.com/ something like this but there are hardly any of them free here
as a first car it is 100% unpractical but hell it must be fun...LX6 in real
Mysho your car just rocks :bannana_gand has style (no sarcasm there)...it even has front parking sensor (the only thing I will always remember about this chevy )
you just take the sequence of pictures and add them into video track with 25fps and each picture will be 1/25second long (they should add successively according to number in name)...I dont know which video editor you use but in sony vegas it is piece of cake
I downloaded 72,3kB file and lfs doesnt even start replay...just a small error message window "LFS cant open the .spr file"
could anyone post a download link for the replay...I just want to try it..because many people I know cant play the replay...just weird
